  1. Welcome along there is a growing number of 2014 owners on the site. Shame you can't mod them too much thanks to the warrenty.
  2. Scoobs are well know for clutch Judder when cold, nothing to worry about unless it gets really bad.
  3. Go to a Subaru Specialist local to you. will get a much better quality of service than from a Kwick fit ATS place. It's about an hours trek for you but I would highly recommend Dan at Surrey Subaru Specialists in Camberly. http://www.surreysubaruspecialists.com/contact-us/ Dan Knows his stuff and is a top bloke and dos loads of work for the Surrey Scoobies Club. May even be able to get Simon From JGM down at the same time to do the remap.
  4. JGM.. Simon @ Jolly Green Monster is your best bet. http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/ Tel 07912 872581
  5. Just Give Simon (Jolly Green Monster) a call he will sort you out and he is one of the best around.
  6. Loads of options for gauges, there's been a few threads on here, the Depo range are popular on here a few of us have them. Good quality and fairly easy to fit. That's not to say any old ebay boost Guage will not work they all just plumb into a vacum pipe on the scoob and I ran a cheapy one with the tube running to the back of the Guage on my classics for years. If you want to splash the cash Defi is the prefered choice but that involves a separate Comander unit for the gauges and senders. The guague aren't cheap either. Looks the dogs though :)
  7. Most dealers were only given 25 each a year to sell.
  8. If this link doesn't help. http://www.tech-faq.com/how-to-reset-a-kenwood-security-code.html May have to go to a local authorised Kenwood service agent rather than a Subaru dealer. Look on here with the drop down menus and it list 2 places in Norfolk 1 in Great Yarmouth and one in Norwich. http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/where_to_buy/ I had to do it with my pioneer and ended up at a car radio shop that looked like it was still in the 70's, it was an old fella and he plugged in an SD card and it was unlocked in seconds.
  9. alternatively check with Subaru Breakers they'll have loads of bits
  10. The 525ish is usually for a licence and remap. If the car has been mapped in the past then it's from £150 upwards depending on what you want, ie launch control, anti lag ect.
  11. Welcome to the club, must admit after driving the '14 this weekend I really like them :)
  12. Welcome along, do you own a Basset called Flash?
  13. Drove the '14 STI at our local meet. Shelley Motors brought down their demonstrator and I have to say I was impressed with the car. The chassis feels really positive and give a feeling of confidence. You can deff tell they have done development on it. Inside is really smart has keyless start as standard, half leather seats and all the toys. I would deff consider one in a year or so when the 2nd hand market has some good examples.
  14. No photos unfortunately. One of the dealers brought their 2014 STI demo car down. So I got to drive the new '14 STI and have to say I was well impressed. You can deff feel the chassis is more positive and has had developlement on it. Inside the car is very good, look well built and futuristic. Only minus point for me was that it could do with a PPP option as it deff felt slower than my own 08.
  15. I had the heat shield around the front manifold go. Gave it to a mate who welded it back together for me. If it's really bad you can get them from most breakers.
  16. Looks like a Police armed response car with the blacked out windows :) welcome along.
  17. Titan fall takes a bit of getting used to. Gameplay is like Quake mixed with halo and cod :D Once you get your head round how the game plays its a pretty good novel FPS. Basically there is no single player, after the training it's straight into multiplayer playing through the campain. You'll play the missions in order if you play from start to finish. If you leave the game, the next time you play will be a random mission on either side. Then you will play out that story line in order. So you could start the last mission on either side as your1st game, sit through the credits and then play mission 1 again. After you have played both story lines through you'll have completed the game. Then it's just replaying the missions or the different mp matches ala cod, halo and all the rest. It can take some time to complete both story arcs as you get booted back to main menu every now and then. Pretty sure gambit would be willing to dust it off if you want to get together for a game of TF.
  18. I reckon you should paint the horn grills to match the body work :)
  19. Your welcome to pop along to the surrey meet on Sunday @ the Fairmile Cobham from 1pm.
  20. Wind defielctors will have 2 metal tabs holding them into the door frame and some dble sided tape at the edges. Just give them a pull from the middle and they should pop out.
  21. piut the back seats down so I could get me new Bike in the back. Scoob will spend some time on the drive, need to get fit so cycling to work. Also will give me a chance t take the wing mirrors off and send them for Dipping.
  22. The drain on the system in negligible when off. When it's switched on it draws the power from the engine. When the car is idling switch it on watch your revs, they will increase to compensate for the extra load the air on adds.
