my foz
Group n engine mounts went in on Saturday, been rude not to seeing as it's the only mount that hasn't been changed, Didn't take a great deal of pics but here's the 18 year old one upon removal It didn't look too bad but you could compress it with you fingers, The group n rubber is much stiffer could feel the difference as soon as it was started up, the for and aft movement has been greatly reduced and the left to right, before I could rock the engine slightly on the manifold but it won't budge, braking feel has improved too I guess mainly down to the master cylinder not moving around, As for increased nvh that people have reported, it actually quietened down the engine due to being rock solid [emoji51]

2001 S-Turbo exhaust options
I had the same thing with the tow bar but my entire system was shot so they custom made the rear box hangers to fit the two bar bracket,i'm sure if you can get an impreza box and take it to a fabrication place along with the car they should be able to move the hangers to fit, I've been told the centre sections are the same and the rear between the diff is slightly longer so that's why people cut the flange and extend the rear box, again no idea if true or not

2001 S-Turbo exhaust options
Hello, any impreza exhaust will fit but you'll need to relocate the hangers and make it a little longer as it won't clear the bumper, foz stuff pops up on ebay and there's a couple of breakers that may have some

Which Impreza for me?
I reckon you'd be more than happy with a wrx the sti's are nice but they command higher premiums all round, not even sure what groups the wrx &sti are in these days, basic mods like a remap and exhaust shouldn't effect the price it's when you start changing brakes and other bits the insurance companies start to have a fit, plenty of specialist companies around that will cover you for a reasonable price,

Which Impreza for me?
Hello &welcome, high mileage isn't a worry if it's been looked after and haf regular services/oil etc. Have you got a desired Shape that you want ? Classics could be picked up well under budget but may require some money putting in to tidy it up, bugeyes are are the least loved so should be able to get a reasonable one and you may see a few blobs just creeping under budget . New age cars are generally seen to be better daily drivers due to being a bit comfier,my advice would be to look at as many as you can to get a feel for what's good or not

New Subaru Forester Owner! I have some questions -)
Sorry mate been a bit busy, Hopefully this works, but hard to see you need to stick your head in the foot well and look up, or take the panel off in front on the steering wheel As fro pollen filter there's a few different shapes and sizes have a look at the black box under the glove box to see how big it is and take a rough measure of length and depth http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/15597-Sf-cabin-filter-install

3rd/4th gen parts interchangeable?
I should think so, or at least for the same year impreza, most bushes are the same across the whole range for the same year, have a look at the whitline web page as it always list all compatable vehicles for the manufacturer, if they do then you should be able to buy form other companies with confidence that they will fit
