  1. Rear wipers playing up, It stopped last week for a bit but sorted it's self out, until this morning, parked outside again overnight and wouldn't wipe, however it works when you open the boot ?? Presume it's a loose connection or bad earth, in the wiring that runs through the tail Gate
  2. If I can I'll dig out a thread, but basically for the water you'll need 38mm adaptor so you can cut the top rad hose in two add adapter put the hose back on at either end and screw in the sender to the adaptor, run the two wires up round the engine bay and trough the grommet near the master cylinder that pops out into to the footewell, As for oil you need an extender kit, then remove the alternator and you'll see the original oil pressure sender, unscrew that, pop the extender in with a t peice adaptor, then one side of adaptor accepts the original sender and the other the new sender, then run the wires back as you did with water,
  3. Optomistic with the snow there Chris [emoji23] There were a couple sets floating round the bay recently for cheap
  4. this should give you an idea http://www.subtle-solutions.com/index.php?cPath=21_23_33_84 There's a big thread on another site, can't for the lift of me find it now, when i do I'll post up
  5. Top mount spacers would be your best bet, there's loads of companies in the us that do them basically a piece of polyurethane that fits between the top of the shock assembly and the body, I'll dig out a link for you.
  6. Try these http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ if you give them a call they'll point you in the right direction as to what you need
  7. If your not going to be pushing over 350bhp I would just go for a drop in panel filter, the standard box is pretty good, a
  8. Google is your friend ! However Www.scoobyparts.com Www.scoobyworld.co.uk Www.viperperformance.co.uk Should set you in right direction
  9. Hello, can you take a picture of the caliper ? I'm assuming you have brmbos ? Depends on how much you wnat to spend really ?
  10. If you want horrible loud noises and lots of wincing come stand next to mine, left it outside overnight at the folks on friday, started her up 'just' sat afternoon, que 5mins of horrendous slap, took me 8 miles of normal driving for the oil and water to get up to normal operating temp [emoji22] half I have a garage, only sounded like metal on metal for about 3 mins this morning [emoji23]
  11. Ah rubbish no idea what happened to that,no worries anyway seeing you've postponed
  12. Hello &welcome nice to see some more people for the leeds area [emoji3]
  13. Did you get the pm ?
  14. And the battery ? [emoji23] What brand you got ?
  15. Yeah I've seen a couple on there and few on other places, no ide if yours is the same dimensions as mine, all the ones I've come across have been to long to fit in the battery tray or to wide [emoji35] Then again whats not to say I haven't got the correct sized tray in there in the 1st place ?
  16. Mines just about had it so been hunting around toady for one, however I can't find anything that is the same size as my old one I'm presuming I need another 60amp one not sure about the cold crank capacity, the higher the better as I have The only thing on mine is s sticker that says 005l ? And it's dimensions are roughly in mm 205 high 160 wide and 225 in length Like I say seen loads that would appear to be suitable except when it comes down to the physical size
  17. Battery only just caught when and had to crank for ages only been out in the cold for 1 night, today I be mostly battery shopping, So much choice is it really worth getting something like an optima or oddesey battery for some extra money ?
  18. Hello & welcome
  19. Yeah subaru parts aren't the cheapest, have you tried any subaru breakers ? Mb developments may be worth a shot as are these chaps http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/ Just make sure you get the right tensile strength bolts from your local place, ☺
  20. Drop David1972 a pm he's had a foz and now on a legacy so is the man to speak to, I are you looking for a turbo or n/a car ? Either way I wouldn't expect to see a great deal more than 30-35 mpg on a good run, round town is more like mid to high 20 's
  21. You'd need to have the hangers re aligned and an extra couple of inches adding to it as the impreza exhausts are slightly shorter meaning it won't clear the bumper
  22. Where did you get the osram bulbs from Jay ? My car doesn't seem to like the eBay special led sidlights and keeps blowing them after a couple of months
  23. Seems a bit odd for someone just to remove the driveshaft ! Could try a subaru dealer on ebay called impartsb46 they sell loads of dead stock Or www.importcarparts.co.uk if it's not listed on the site give them a bell as they should be able to source or point you in the right direction. As for the seats i'd assume so but you never know can you find a swift to have a look at ? Alternatively if the swift seats are cheap enough you could probably adapt the rails
