  1. Try import car parts www.importcarparts.co.uk they should have the dust shields and would either be able to source the nuts or let you know where to get them from
  2. Sorry mate,I ment cosworth make filters for the classic shape inpreza, if your gonna do it i'd get everything ready and fit it the say before the map as the bigger injectors will be throwing the fueling out and will be a pig to drive,
  3. You would see some gains ut your correct in thinking a decat would be the most effective method of expelling the gasses faster, if you didn't want to got that route you could got for a single highflow sports cat to keep it more mot friendly
  4. Hi

stants replied to Wysey71's topic in New Members Introductions
Hello & welcome lovely looking car
  5. Hello & welcome, very nice ! I've absolutely no idea on the cossie hatches think I've only ever seen one in the wild.
  6. Sorry mate, been a bit hectic, If your running a td04 trubo it won't hit much past 270 on a good day, so td05 or equivalent vf series turbo, cosworth panel filters are pretty good as non oiled so won't mess up the maf, check what colour your injectors are if they are grey you may want to go up to a 440cc injector which is yellow in colour if I'm right, if they are yellow or blue in colour you'll be fine
  7. Have you checked in the engine bay on the bulk head ? Seen a few there on subaru's before
  8. There's Andy Carr www.teamcarr.net Or http://www.tegsport.co.uk/ Or dunc www.racedynamix.com will travel. My advise is to drop them all an email and discuss your needs, do a load of research online about each one
  9. You're better off with a remap to make the most of the decat, you would also be able to put the induction kit back on if you want as will be mapped for it, and you'll get more boost and torque, as for the intercooler, take it off and get a pair of tweezers and some little picks a beer and just straighten the fins out, takes some time but cheaper and the one you have on is a v3 ? I think, is the best of the classic coolers for efficency
  10. Speak to mfnick he has one for sale, may be worth a pm as not posted for a while
  11. Hi mate, maybe try spring coil in Sheffield they will make you a spring to your spec so if you speak to them, they should be able to get something to your needs
  12. same one ? As for lambda http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=9635&cat=96⊂=103&sec=3006&var=47&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= Should be the same as this but I'd ring them before ordering
  13. Are you ready for a sit down, if it's the same purple maf as mine it's about 350 quid ! As you need to but the whole unit as opposed to the drop in element [emoji22] I'll dig out part no on the lambda for you in a min
  14. At the end of the day they are all mass produced units, so there will always be failures, walbro 's quality went down a bit a while back according to a couple of people I know, a member here had a pair of them fail within six months and now won't touch them, if you scour the Internet there's also been a bad batch of swrd pumps in the last year or so leading to some twitchy bum moments from others, but again ash has one in his classic running nigh on 350 with meth with no reported problems My rcm pump has been in since Dec with no ill effects so I'm happy with it plus the customer service is good mine arrived in under 24 hours of ordering, There's also scooby worx
  15. Bargain,shame it won't fit on mine [emoji22]
  16. This one gets my vote. http://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/category/132-fuel-pumps-filtration
  17. Sent you a pm re insurance
  18. Have you tried any of the specialist insurers ? Is it age related too ?
  19. Hello, how many miles a year do you do &is it mainly long motorway commutes ? The 1st gen diesels had issues with glow plugs getting stuck, and dpf failures, as far as I'm aware glow plug issues have been sorted on the latest models and the dpf clogging issues shouldn't be a problem if it's loads of long motorway trips
  20. Yep sounds about right for the lambda, what colour sticker is on your maf ?
  21. Have a look at this, should give you some ideas http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/16239-Typical-Upgrade-Path-Newage-Impreza-2.0-WRX Obviously if your going for the 300 mark be wise to get it all ready install and map instead of mapping then having to add bits on and get the map tweaked at extra cost, td05 or vf series turbo upgrade, fuel pump filter decat or sports cat turbo back system and map, jobs a good un, might want to have a look at upgrading pads/discs for a bit more stopping power
  22. Not too familiar with the layout of yours but on others if you take the facia off sold be able to un clip from the back and push out
