Haha all I had at work was cordless drill and hack saw blade, stupidly I did a pilot on bottom of pic which was an inch out, so started again, went to answer phone and started opening up the wrong hole, Tomorrow's job is to tidy up the hole and treat then cover with an access patch. It was a needs must fix

Hello & welcome, not sure to be honest Mr b is your best bet for an answer, all subaru's are 4wd and you should see that kind of mpg return it's the locking diffs and low range that's stumped me, I know the older models have low range but couldn't say on newer specs, anyway feel free to nosey round were all friendly here and I'm sure somone will be over soon to answer your questions

  7. Congratulations glad you like it, If the cars been sat for a while could just be the lifters have lost all the oil coating ? Or the colder weather I'm not that clued up about the h6 engine to be honest.

  9. I saw a place online that was selling the conditioner & waterless stuff for quite cheap, you've just got to remember unless you tell the garage at major service time they'll just change it anyway

  12. Not sure about the passes but you can come along and just pay general admission,
  13. I put four of them on in march and they are a good ballance between performance and fuel economy, can't fault them, wet grip is really good
  14. My sports cat failed 1st time as not hot enough, however that was on jap map and was over fueling which wouldn't of helped

  18. Are you thinking of breaking due to the dead box ? Have you tried getting it rebuilt with stronger internals ?
  19. Hi, could try grade a subaru spares on ebay http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/ or these chaps http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/ as for the clips they shouldn't be much from subaru uk if you can't get them elsewhere

  22. Best bet is trying one of the many breakers, mb developments or grade a subaru spares are Brett good Somone should start manufacturing replacment parts out of something that doesn't rust !
  23. Ooh go steady will you be able to hand the power ? What running period have you got 1k miles ?
  24. 5/4 should be ok not sure how much weight the wagon carries over the saloon ? And how this would affect it
