  1. Or make sure you get the black polly bushes that way no one will ever know unless they strip the car down and inspect the bushes by hand, [emoji58]
  2. Cheers for the advice again mate, made the world of difference just changing it without the bleed, it engages smoother and there's no rattling now so looks like the clutch may not be as knackered as 1st thought. [emoji3] si can't be arsed trying to rope the misses into helping tonight so I'll get it done properly over the weekend Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  3. Hello & welcome sorry to hear your woes, does sound like big end failure however subaru know how to charge and most of the 10k will be labour, a decent engine builder will do it for 3-4k depending on the damage and what needs replacing, may be worth giving api impreza a bell and getting getting a rough quote form them. 6. Add another 10k for a good gtr though, prices are on the rise. 15k gets you a nice r32 though Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  7. It's horrendous trouble is that it's disfigured the plastic so I did two sucks and had drained it all out because I couldn't see the level properly, [emoji52] refilled as a temp measure till I can bleed correctly just hope I've not introduced any air into the system ! 10. Cel codes clear black plug check, plugged in to evoscan, voltage good, maf values look ok, no increased knock or Anything that looks out of place, only idle is a bit funny so maybe a loose hose, I'll investagate hoses later on, Clive the fluid is filthy ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  11. Cheers Clive I'll have a look I know it's not been done for a while, are they fairly easy to bleed ? Never done one before ☺ Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Dunno mate, could just be playing up with the heat and what not, I'll have a proper look later on, yeah I'm away at end of Sept so need it doing before then as I can't be breaking down Hahah Just a thought, could it be down to the clutch being so worn not releasing properly etc ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. Car died on me sat in traffic on way home ?? Just watched the idle drop lower amd lower till it cut out, Started up again fine and got home with no more dramas. Off to interrogate it when it's cooled &check battery voltage loose pipes etc. On another note looks like the clutch is on the way out, smells when giving it the beans and Is very jumpy in traffic [emoji35] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

  21. G.E.A.R.S in Liverpool are supposed to be good there's also Howard in Hebden Bridge i think it's called h.d.c will dig out link Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  22. Depends do you know if it's ever been changed ? I know you can't add one type to another as it changes into a jelly, I did a rad change a while back, my independent said use the longlife stuff as it doesn't contain silicates which apparently eat away the water pump impellor blades, So I flushed it with a hose pipe and filled up with the o.a.t longlife. Touch wood it's been ok for 6 months the only thing I've noticed is it reacts with the air and goes furry one of my pipes was loose now I have an orange beard on it ? I keep the leftover mix in the boot but I only have to top up once in a blue moon. Have you looked at the waterless coolants available, more expensive but supposed to be good Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  23. I wouldn't worry about the size I prefer my hoodies baggy so if gambits was l it will be fine as I'm I bit skinner than he is Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. Roughly how large are the large hoodies ? Saw gambits one the other day but didn't ask. Also would the soc hoodies be available in royal blue with yellow print or does it not come through that well ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
