  1. Whilst we're on the subject of stuff that's currently unobtainable how does this tickle your fancy dave ? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/forester/subaru-forester-sti-rare-facelift-360bhp-398ftlb/4438043 [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  2. Hello & welcome, classic systems will fit but you'll need to relocate the hangers and possibly add a couple of inches to the back box, you could always got forester specific system made up, an induction filter isn't really needed unless you want big power, the standard airbox is efficent to about 300bhp Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  3. Have a look at the eBay seller impartsb46, ex franchise ells loads of subaru bits brand new for knockdown prices, had some leggy wheels on but not sure what Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  4. This one's 3" all the way through so you'd need a bigger diameter downpipe to make it fit Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  5. Are you after a figure of what yours should be boosting at stock ? Depending on model and if has ppp etc should anywhere between 0.8-1.0 bar iirc ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  6. I'd just find out what type it is as my local subaru dealer told me they've stopped selling it and to put anything u wanted in, they had some shell coolant behind the counter too Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  7. Depends on what your read, like everyhthing else I suppose if you go into it prepared and with plenty of time and light you'll be fine it appears to be the o/s that's a pig as some people have had to disconnect the rack from the steering wheel I reckon about an hour with brew time inc Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  8. Scoobyparts have a sale on selected whitline bits, finally got round to ordering the steering rack bushes Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  9. Are they fairly low profile ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  10. Still not super noisy, only other thing to check is a failing wheel bearing, they get noisy as hell when on the way out, Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  11. Mine scrubs up pretty well you just Nedd to look at it from about 5 feet away so then you can't see all the hail stone dents ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  12. Subaru's in general noisy, sound deadening adds weight as Chris says tyres make a big difference too, I've just put on some good years with very low rolling resistance so quiet but you do loose a little in handling, You could always try putting some in the doors, do you still have the under tray and under bonnet mat ? dynamat I think it's called is supposed to be good, Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  13. Bought some meguiars stuff at japshow, not cheap but it works, obviously wouldnt use it to 'wash the car' but bit's good if it's been done and is a little soiled, To be fair Chris you paint looks factory fresh unlike mine which is battered after 18 years so probably wouldn't make a difference if I washed it with a bucket of rocks Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  14. [emoji16] ash is on holiday next month so I'll get it posted up early more people will come haha. Good to see some more new faces Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  15. He's did mine on Feb and I'm happy with the results, as hardly says, you can have just a ecu remap or you could start removing the 2nd cat or add a lore free flowing system etc etc the lost is endless, most people say upgrade the fuel pump before so may be worth emailing dunc or some other tuners and seeing what they advise. The upshot is what ever you do you'll get more power more torque and better mpg [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  16. Needs a map to release the potential in the block [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. Hello it should be 2.5" diameter I think, let me dig around a bit Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  18. Remap is the only real way to go, you'll need to decide how far you wnat to go ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  19. Dog doesn't look to enthusiastic about all that in the living room ☺ Obviously there's six gauges there and only three in centre, where are you locating the other three ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  20. I'd go for a legacy, if you get an impreza you'll always be wanting a turbo'd version, the leggy is a more refined drive and more up market in the cabin, plus people alwasy expext you to have a million bhp, in the impreza, I average 100 miles a week and 30 quids worth of shells finest usually does me, round town it's 20-25 ish long runs mid 30 even saw a heady 38mpg once ! the gx doesn't really save much in fuel over the wrx's Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  21. It's brightening up here, depends on how long it takes me to pick up my daughter and get home, last week took 2 hours to do 14 miles all because it was raining Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  22. Should help out, side by side one open one closed ☺ Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  23. Could be the same issue, if actuator dead or springs gone then the w/g could be open worst, case somethings broken off and has lodged the w/g open, I'd pull the turbo and see Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. Hahaha not been there for a long time Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  25. Find a 'friendly' one ☺ Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
