  1. Hello & welcome to the club were all friendly so feel free to get stuck in, we have a member who's currently in the process of swapping to unequal length and has a thread up, I'll see if I can dig it up for you
  2. At the end of the day ultimately all your doing with the bracing is adding weight, so just strut mounts will see a big improvment. Unless your tracking the car it's not really necessary.
  3. I'm in I'll see aid anyone else will be coming, I'll see if Gareth (vw) is up for the trip
  4. Ooh ! Bargain I no offence ment but I prefer the pre facility one, the lower front bumper looks more agressve. Sadly I don't have any money saved up, in the two years I've had her she's had new suspension, tyres 2xwheels, full exhaust map & supporting mods and other bits haha
  5. Haha no it wasn't me I very rarely make it over that side of the hill in the car, mainly work van. I saw someone who had an ex Litchfield demo fsti in blue had the performance pack plus a massive topmount i/c full whitline bracing and some other bits leather etc etc. May be able to dig out a pic As for fellow fsti owners they are few and far between, I know of two in leeds and a couple down south. Have a look on UK forester as they have a few members with your model, once I've either won the lottery or decided about wedding/house plans my aim is to get a fsti
  6. Yes mate I have the SF lowering kit, but mine was so dead it actually brought the car up in height at the rear [emoji51] I haven't had any problems and it hey come with a two year warranty. I replaced the top mounts with oem spec kyb's at the same. Recently went to the dales with misses baby and travel cot pram food etc and the car didn't move You can get the ez strut set up I think it's called which has the top mounts included they also do different springs for extra load carrying capabilities if your not sure on what to go for give them a bell and they'll help
  7. Hi mate welcome, very nice more discreet than an impreza but just as much of a weapon when the mood takes you
  8. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f95/cobb-accessport-stage-1-xt-auto-1954/#/forumsite/20556/topics/1954 older car but shows it can be done
  9. I presume they use the same denso ecu's so carberry & ecutek should be available, when dunc replies see what he recommends. There's plenty of us owners who use cobb access port may be worth rooting round on forester.org
  10. Yep you'll see the difference, you can get under body braces for the front and rear if you want to go for the full works
  11. I forgot about oil temp sensor so the oil temp straight into block downwards, crank sensor goes right side of pic an the water should be the one that's facing away in your pic towards the rear of the car
  12. I can see it [emoji51] i'd hazard a guess ti sat it's the one going directly down but I'll have a further dig around
  13. Nice ! Do they differ in price to the others ? I should really measure my plates just to be on the safe side haha
  14. Ipc do some key blanks, no idea if that's any good ?
  15. Nowt wrong with them mate, some say it's a waste of money but I definitely felt a difference when I put mine on
  16. I'd go with the 35 quid then St least if they break ir some more they'll have to cough up or fix it
  17. No worries mate, if your stuck call import car parts Monday morning and you'll have it Tuesday if they have stock
  18. http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/cooling/radfor.shtml about half way down the page yours is squarer than mine but it's the same length width & depth I think you have an extra hose coming off it
  19. Mine wasn't listed either but i called them and they said it was the same as a legacy/impreza of the same year, he emailed me a pic of UK type and jdm type rads so I could choose the correct one, Where abouts are you ? Northern radiators stock them up my way I guess you'll have a similar company near you.
  20. That's good enough mate looks like yours is a UK type rad, does it step down an inch towards the other end ? Import car parts will have one, just give them a ring as it's easier to avoid any confusion
