  1. I've an evoscan cable at the mo with there software as it was 50 quid as esl wanted 175. What I didn't know is it won't work with esl software due to not having a dongle, if you buy their cable with the board it's half price. I'm ordering it as they knew dunc supplied it in feb so I can have it at reduced rate. Evoscan one I've not had chance to use it as only turned up the other day it offers live data, logging and what not but I can't see as much as with the esl.
  2. Doe the full size wheel fit in there ok ? Just wondering as I have a spare one now and would swap the space saver for it
  3. I'm working leeds festival on bank holiday weekend so if it doesn't clash put me down as a maybe
  4. What's the number on your vin plate? And what information are you looking for exactly ? Assuming it's standard. I'm guessing it's an ej20 G or K engine, around 220 bhp with a td series trubo.
  5. I've heard things from another member on here, but then again a different member has used them loads and swears by them. I'll stick with Martin & Dave at Sheff subaru 80 mile round trip but worth it
  6. The crank case valve only vents the blow by gasses back into the system, there's no way you'd get a liter past it without it throwing a cel. If there was that much venting it means it's blowing by the rings, but if you've got no blue smoke it can't be.
  7. There's an eu directive that states the mirrors must be a certain size that corresponds with the car. Something daft like, times the length and width of the body, divide by x and you'll come to the square area needed for the mirror. Have you seen them in the rolls Royce phantom ? I'd stuck them on if you don't like you can always shift them on
  8. Hello & welcome loads of members up your way, there's a buying guide on the forum that is useful to have had a thumb through
  9. No idea mate, did you turn round and try and make it do it again ?
  10. Hi mate welcome, Have a look through this, decodes vin & engine numbers here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3286-Model-Codes-for-JDM-and-UK
  11. Scooby clinic recon the blue will take 350bhp but i'd move up to tge pink for peice of mind, considering it's a ig job no point doing it twice, I'm sure the pink below 300 will be fine it's just more expensive, both the same type, just think the compounds are different Just get the 5 speed classic, think it's a pull type but don't hold me to that
  12. Exedy blue box for up to 300 bhp Pink box for above
  13. Mine was a direct swap v3 normal to v3 sti so no mods or map required like I say only changed it for the y pipe as they couldn't be arsed making me one. Spools up so much quicker now Theres a thread in the engine section about i/c info it's a good read regarding effectiveness, New age ones will fit with bracket modifications and I suspect they'll need mapping due to increasing volume of air.
  14. Trouble is postcode lottery plays alot and they go on the amount of cars written off/stolen so I imagine a fair few impreza's were pinched and destroyed between the mid 90's early 2000. That all counts against us even if we have x amount of no claims, etc etc I can't imagine that many hatches or panamera have been twocked compared to classics. Mine went from 675 to 550 in the year and I'm hoping next time round it will be less as I've had the car for a while 9 years ncb. Direct line won't even insure me with exhaust mods declared as 'we only deal with standard cars' My mate has a xv220 stage two supercharged, same again mainstream company won't touch him but a subsidiary company will ?
  15. Sorry mate I'm tripping out that's what I ment ! On loads of painkillers haha

  20. Yeah know what you mean supposd your guaranteed by pp if nothing shows. I emailed a couple of times, sent payment, about a week later I had a parcel arrive 1st class
  21. Coils on the left of manifold as you look at it ?
  22. Boo I know it's only 1 chap in a shed pretty much. You just click on the pay pal link on the side and put in notes what you want making. You looking for something else instead ?
  23. What's yours a v5, 1999 ? I ended up buying savages sti cooler with pipework included, as got fed up waiting for one to get made for the foz, was cheaper in the end. Think scoobyworld and the likes usually carry them in stock, or try viper performance as they are loads chaeper than everyone else as they make massive batches up at once
