  1. Trying to find a fuel filler neck for a forester [emoji35] they appear to be a little longer than the impreza according to ipc but someone one forester.org says they are the same grrrr !
  2. Get your drill out ! The ones I've seen have been attached through the boot floor
  3. Had all fuel lines off again to see if there's any blockages or splits, couldn't see anything checked charcoal canister all seems to be plumbed in, I'm at a loss, put it in diagnostic mode and the petrol smell came back, coming from under rear arch, Phoned subaru they wanted 50 quid for a new fuel cap ! So do I get a replacment cap or replacment tank gasket to start off with ?
  4. I cam never find a pair of gloves that give me enough feel

Got any pics of copper/carbon combo from the Web at all ?
  7. I'm at the point of pulling my hair out if I had any, Basically if anyone is on good terms with an alarm installer that does clifford/viper alarms could you ask them if the have access to a dei bitwriter This is the essential bit ! I need a bitwriter operator to unlock the alarm module for me so I cam programme new key as it was locked by the original installer. I've called just about everyone in the yorks/manchester/notts area with no luck. I can either travel to London at the place where the alarm was fitted and give them 75 notes for the pleasure of doing it for me. I'd rather not travel that far and pay somone closer. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. Oof I forgot do you need a pair of cats ?
  9. Hundred quid for mine only cut the carpet out as the foz armchairs were fine but when I put the impreza seats in it was a bit close. It's a nice little sub rounds the system off nicely and gives out good sound for what it is
  10. here's mine now I've finally got it stuck to the floor.
  11. I'll show you mine if.....
  12. Could try giving api a call for a comparison quote. Sorry don't have the address but Google api engine builds
  13. I'm going, shame it's the day before jap fest, I either pretend to go to work and go Elvington then jap fest or work out some other fiendish plan I doubt I'll be allowed to go to both
  14. Up to you mate, I guess if it's like Normal Elvington shoot outs it's two gazebo ' at the end of the runway with timing gear and not much else lol
  15. Easiest thing to do is have a look at your boost soliniod, how many pipes are coming out of it ? I'd it's a two port one follow the top hose to the turbo and the little t peice should split left and right, left goes to wastgate, and right bit goes to turbo outlet nipple , this should have the restrictor pil in it about half way between the t peice and nipple, I'll get a pic of mine in a min for you
  16. If it's anything like the rest of the subaru range there will be at least two more at the bottom possibly hiding behind the light cluster, scooby Pete's your best bet but if he's not around I'd have a look on YouTube or similar
  17. Just put Andy forrest subaru in YouTube [emoji51]
  18. You not seen Andy forrest's car ?
  19. Hi mate, my curiosity was getting the better of me, had the inspection cover off again everything looks good, top of tank dry and no smell inside the car, nipped a couple of bolts up, not sure tightening sequence so I did it like you would a cylinder head last week? Could it be the fuel caps not sealing properly ?
  20. Just checked all bolts under car from last week's work all good, I am however getting a petrol smell outside the car since the fuel pump change ? Gonna have a look at that on my dinner. There seems to be no pressure when the cap is undone, any ideas ?

No mate as I've got a v3 engine so my valve lives half way down the pipework from the intercooler instead of on the ic like newer ones. The hks ones seem to be good and people put them on without mapping but they cost a bit. Ideally a map when fitting it is the best option as it will be dumping air that the ecu expects to go back into the engine. Are you having any more mods done ? If so I'd get everything together install and map on same day

Depends some cars run ok and others run poorly, new age cars suffer less. Maybe get one that can vent to atmosphere or be turned to recirculate if your having problems
  24. Been off for a week so yes !
  25. Shame mate, I know how it is though it's on the list but something else always has priority [emoji25]
