Have you tried streaming your music from the phone ?
  3. My folks moved over to saga, not sure if it was a min age of over 50's or 60's (no discrimination ment to our older members) His halved and dropped to about 250 a year fully comp. What was on a 2.0 td mondeo.

Just seems a bit weird to have put them on to break up the body shape when theres a perfectly good designed shoulder line there. Withbthe stripes on front wing it throws the rest of the car. Always good when all you need is to unstick a button to get things working again. Is the stereo a bluetooth unit ?
  5. The scoop won't need any fixings you just remove the ones from your old one and re use them, there are a couple of plastic clips that may perish but thse can be bought from subaru for about a quid each. Agian with the spoiler it depends on where it comes from and how it's advertised. Alloys range from a little to alot. Don't forget to factor in he cost for new tyres if you change rim size. Scooby world are a bit pricy in my opinion I've used both for little bits, there are literally hundreds of sites for subaru parts and sometimes stuff from overseas can be a cheaper buy.

Looks good, agree on the stripes looks a bit odd Hope you can get them off without too much hassle. Will look a lot cleaner without them
  7. Hello and welcome :-) as you can see it's a slippery slope, stereo wise you can buy a single din cubby box to fit below the head unit which will sort the problem of having a hole and give you somewhere to put stuff . As for the grill if your handy with some rattle cans you could prob do it for a lot less than a paint shop would charge as you'd have to take them off before sending them to the shop. Can't help with the spoiler I'm afraid as I've not looked into it. But if it's painted in your colour already it sounds reasonable. Larger scoops are on ebay all the time so if you don't mind it being non genuine part can pick them up ready for paint for about sixty quid. Dunno if gambit's asked you already but get a load of pics while your at it :-) we always like to see peoples individual take one their cars
  8. I've been following the build thread looking good are you any further with it going back in this week ? Sent from my SM-T210
  9. What's the gauge for next to th iacv ? Seen a fee on different cars but never got round to asking Sent from my SM-T210
  10. Something appears to be missing [emoji16] Do we get an accompanying engine as of how it looks today 'money shot' ? Sav I got fed up of trying to find one for the foz so just stuffed a classic one on instead, I wsd toying of making one but just don't have the time Sent from my SM-T210
  11. http://www.rally-tech.com/scoop_delete.html Came across these when I was looking for my ic cover, think they look smart, although a lot of money for something you could probably knock up yourself if you had access to the tools/machinery
  12. Don't think it had been cleaned in at least ten years before I bought her. Leaves and twigs everywhere. So just cleaned the grime of all the bottles and leads hoovered up all the loos bits I can get to. Then as and when stuff gets removed or replaced I'll vcean & polish. Not thought of a scoop delete kit sav ?
  13. I'll mainly be driving all over tn too, so I'll keep an eye out, still desperately need to givee hr a wash
  14. Not really investigated it that thoroughly as it's on the list of bits to replace, have had to sort tax and insurance this month before anything else wss ticked off, had a full cobra system fitted in march so that's one less thing to do [emoji16] Sent from my SM-T210
  15. I take it the ic swop would require a remap ? My y pipe was looking prettty haggard when I took it off last time, been looking and the v3 sfs kit is different to the forester kit the y pipe seems to be a smoother shape http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_SFS_TURBO_HOSE_KIT_-_IMPREZA_01-05.html http://www.subaruforesterparts.co.uk/#!product/prd1/1660081895/subaru-forester-sf5-intercooler-y-pipe-kit-97-2002 Sent from my SM-T210

I think we should just press gang people into it, gambit is there a fee for just turning up if we're not on a club stand ? Sent from my SM-T210
  17. Definitely v3/4 then :-D Is the recirc valve at the bottom of the hose where it splits into three pieces ?
  18. It must have been a long time ago that your engine looked like that :-D Thanks for that you are a valuable source of knowledge fella So if I get a v3 intercooler pipe set it should fit. Whats missing from the right of the alternator ? Aircon unit?
  19. Direct line won't even touch you if it's an import or modded so it's all balls ! I know of people who had mk3 mx5's theres a factory option lowering spring set from eibach which if you got installed at time of purchase no problems insuring. If you were buying used and wanted to get lowering kit from your dealer the insurer wouldn't have it and couldn't get cover. As bitman says they are all as bad as each other
  20. Just renewed mine today with mark richards, a rather reasonable 579 fully comp with exhaust declared :-) Surely if you cancelled half way through you'd only pay a month extra admin fee. Most of the big insurers don't like many mods as they assume you an idiot and will kill everything and your self because you have a million horsepower and you've changed from oem spec so the car is not as intended etc. The brokers and specialists tend to know their stuff and understand that it's your pride and joy and a lot of time and money has gone into it so you'll do everything in your powers to keep it looking good and in tip top condition.
  21. Trying to find out what version engine my foz has in it. Need to replace some hoses that are on there last legs. With various peoples help (cheers sav) I thought I'd narrowed it down but looking at james' edm 2000 foz it would appear not. Since found out that the euro foz had a different engine config untill my01. Most noticeably coil pack on the side and a bov located on the ic. I'll pop one of mine up in a bit cheers My coil sits straight on top of the inlet and I'm led to believe the bov is somewhere down the pipework to the right being a recirc type, initially I thought mine is a v3/4 but now I'm thinking maybe 4/5 ? All I know is that it uses the same engine as some gc wrx's So if anyone post a pic of there stock ish engine bay with tmic I can start to narrow it down
  22. Try flux, sky and, japcover(mark richards) all brokers all equally competitive plus you can usually go between them and get the price down :-)
  23. I was underneath the rear of mine yesterday, the anti roll bar is one of the most pathetic looking things i've ever seen, maybe look at changing those too Sent from my SM-T210
  24. Hi mate , theres a list in the for sale section I think, but I usually find myself just googling and looking at stuff from overseas as the uk doesn't really have much in the way of styling for the foz, Just about every impreza part I've bought has fitted, What are your aims ? [emoji3] I keep toying with the idea of bigger rims lowering etc the list goes on ! Sent from my SM-T210
  25. Boooost ! It's addictive :-) Today I be maonly ringing round insurers :-(
