  2. I'm getting confused with the vx rims doh !
  3. To be honest I'd not even thought about the bay. I was looking at new prices
  4. Have a look at this, maybe something similar available for yours :-) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/6562-test-fitting-legacy-mesh-grille/#entry38122
  5. I've a pair of forester seats sat in my basement. Wider and more of a normal seating position. They sit about an inch higher than impreza seats. Not sure about the fit in a new age though
  6. Ooh gutted, how much they go for ? Cheapest I've found just the rims for is 466 from the states :-(
  7. Should be mate, just not got round to ordering it from subaru yet. I was gonna get the internal rubber bit too save messing around and just replace it
  8. Oh and don't undo the bit on the top without marking the screw locations. You shouldn't have to remove it to be fair but if you do mark it 1st other wise your idle will be all over.
  9. Depends which version you have, some are on top of the inlet next to throttle body and others are on the right but on the back side of the inlet manifold, like this In either case get new gaskets before you do anything. And if it's the latter of the two try and get hold of the diaphragm that goes inside. Google subaru idle air control cleaning. Will give you both walk through guides.
  10. Shares that same head light design and the way the front bumper meets bonnet almost identical to evo. Still I like. not to sure on the rear wing (never thought I'd say it) read somewhere it adds nearly 10kg to the rear end May look better with a lower one :O Shame he wasn't giving it the beans round a gravel stage
  11. No worries garry, Sav you have far too much time on your hands :-D Would be nice to find out some and collate some info on other foresters. Mines confusing the hell out of me at the mo. I've the ecu info somehwere but other things and pics I've seen of uk cars boggle my head
  12. My97 has a facelift dash do you still want a pic ? It's a foz but identical interior, Sav where did you pull that info from ? Be interesting finding out info on mine, Sent from my SM-T210
  13. I'd be more worried about the state of the oil filter ! Looks like it's not been changed in a long time :O
  14. This month its mainly bmw's ! : :
  15. Excellent providing my holes are ok I'll take it paypL ok ?
  16. Take it yours goes across the back of the rear diff ? I'll have a see if I can accommodate it :-)
  17. Depends on how heavy handed you are, if you just go jumping up and down then maybe. Of it's had a good soak in some wd40 or similar than applying gentle force on it should just ease it free. If all else fails have a drill handy
  18. Or wear slippers :-D
  19. Makes me feel a bit better :-) anyone fancy a game of petrol light roulette ?
  20. Gaulson, I think one of the easiest ways normally is to pull the plug and crank engine. Earth to top of crank case See if theres a spark. Obvioulsy have a spare good plug so you can change it to eliminate weak spark plugs. This should show you if it's the plug or coil. Need insulated pliers too. Best google it as I'm sure I've missed a step or saftey point ao don't want you to electrocute yourself. Could always take the individual coils odf the pack and vlean them with contact cleaner see if that helps
  21. Bosh, did your fuel light come on ? I'm not entirely sure how much is in the bottom half of the tank after it hits min. My light has never been on (unless it's broken) put twenty five liters in this morning and it took it well past half full. ??
  22. As for other mods, is far as I'm aware the uk cars had a tdO3 turbo so you could swap that for a td04, exhaust, remap, again not sure if you've a remappable ecu. Where do you want to go with it ? As you know from running an sti anything can be achievable if tour pockets are deep enough :-D
  23. Looking at the pics I stand corrected. :-D I'm not surprised though as for the dv I've no idea the forge ones sewm to have a good reputation
  24. Hi mate I replied in the new owners section, do you have any pics ? Like I said in the other post it's prob not worth it as ours run the recirculating type valve and a vta valve will mwke the car run a bit rough, and people have had other problems too, anywya welcom to the club Sent from my SM-T210
  25. I know how you feel nick, mines in desperate need of a polish & wax, this weather is doing my head in, Not done anything to mine today cost me far too much money yesterday so I'm biding my time and waiting [emoji16] Sent from my SM-T210
