  1. Very odd ! If it's a three wire maf surely 2 are for current and one's a ground, how many wires coming iut of the loom, maybe it's an aftermarket maf and it's been altered to fit, Sent from my SM-T210
  2. Are there any other stickers on the maf housing ? Normally it's a rectangular sticker on the side of the square bit on top. Will be green, red or yellow orange or purple
  3. Normally when the plug is pulled and a stall occurs this means it's working, it's not the best test but it gives an indication, Standard exhaust there's one just behind the turbo and another one underneath the car in the 2nd section, the milage is nothing for these if they have been looked after [emoji3] Sent from my SM-T210
  4. Looks like it's nice and clean, shame anout the problems, if the garage doesn't want to know you can get plenty of aftermarket scoops on the bay, not ideal but cheaper than the dealer Sent from my SM-T210
  5. If it's been decatted and had a different filter should have had a remap, I'd pop in a standard paper filter in and give it a service, see how it goes, then try replacement maf, what colour sticker si on the maf housing ? Sent from my SM-T210
  6. I was posting on my phone at the time, photobucket mobile no work, so switched to tablet should work now [emoji16] Sent from my SM-T210

  8. I feel a trade coming on :-D
  9. You can go up to a 70 sidewall but I fon't know if thats on 15 or 16" wheels. Check your door jamb sticker should tell you the sizes of tyre you can use. I'll get mine up in a bit
  10. Hello welcome, pre 2000 car's had the jap based diagnostic system, so there is a port under the steering column that looks like odb but isnt, I cant remember the name of the system off the top of my head but if you have loads of diagnostic equipmet at work chances are you may have the right stuff Sent from my SM-T210

  14. Bitman on here has a guide, cant post link ? It's in he forester section at the mo, If you want to change the gaiters/ triangle bits it's a bit of a mission by all accounts you have to remove most if the inside of the door to get at them. Sent from my SM-T210

  16. Lol was typing when mrb replied, David you should be able to get 16" with a 48mm offset fairly easily depends what look your going for
  17. 55mm offset will rub on the rear struts on the sf, not sure on the sg foz but you need to use spacers for the older model, Also don't know about the rubber is it necessary to have xl rwted tyres on the car or is that just for towing and off road use
  18. I'd say the garage are trying to pull a fast one, ths scoop is held on by 8 screws and 4 plastic fasteners so unless they did some paintwork on the bonnet or they have replaced it there should be no reason for it to have come loose. Have some stern words mate see where it gets you
  19. stants replied to Gambit's topic in Car Shows
Gutted ! Can you not re book ? York to rippon isn't that far which one you booked ? Sent from my SM-T210
  20. Not sure if the standard stuff is as it leaves a residue behind. And wd40 sell a specific contact cleaner, if you have a maplins close they sell a quick drying contact cleaner, and I'm sure halfrauds will have something similar. I wouldn't worry about doing it today see how she runs and just attack it next time or if the code comes back
  21. Maybe worth taking off and spraying with some contact cleaner too
  22. http://www.obd-codes.com/p0340 Try this, and so begins the hunt ! Say it may not be the sensor, but my guess it most prob is. Worgh checking the wiring and stuff 1st
  23. http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/product/Roof_Spoiler_E721ESA000 Try this, says up to 2007
  24. Have a look at the vin plate on the n/s strut tower you'll find the paint code there
