  2. Knock sensor cel on again new one ordered can't wait to attp to fit it [emoji55]
  3. Does it have any upgrade bits on it already ? What kind of goals are you after in hp ?
  4. Looks good that mate, like the way it doesn't intrude on your field of vision, You down at sheff subaru on the 11th for the meet ?
  5. credit card in wallet v5 in glove box just in case they make you a px offer you can't refuse [emoji23]
  6. Sounds like your making a case to go have a look at it [emoji23]
  7. Hello & welcome, Google is your friend, many aftermarket sites scoobyworld & scooby parts to name a few for shiny & upgrade parts, oem bits best place is usually www.importcarparts.co.uk and for small bits dealer isn't that bad clips etc, Turbo 2000 isn't gonna offend anyone either that or just call it a classic [emoji1]
  8. Had the gearbox propshaft oil seal changed, 10 minute job done and dusted, followed by a nosey round@mfnick's new jdm blob sti, and three hours of p**s taking banter down at sss ☺
  9. They will fit, do you have the normal 4 pots on ? Could always send yours away to godspeed in Wales, they normally have re furb ones on the shelf, have stainless pistons so shouldn't seize again. Send them yours and you get a nice shiny set back ready to go, They are usually pretty quick in getting them out, they may even do a surcharge service, (not sure as I just sent mine away)
  10. Tidying up some bits in time for (show season) [emoji23] wiper arms are getting repainted Fab shop is well underway with adapting my zs undertray too
  11. Glad your enjoying the purchase [emoji3] Pressure washing, just avoid obvious things like pointing Lance directly into it, (sounds daft I know but I watched a car wash chap do it to mine) he ended up bending the intercooler fins [emoji35] I usually wash the bonnet from the wind Screen down, and aim the lance towards the front end, that way I can give it a quick blow over and the water isn't directly going towards the scoop, if your concerned you could always put a small towel over the intercooler and shut bonnet that should catch any stray water Luggage covers are like rocking horse !Removed!, they surface on the bay occasionally but are daft money, you could try breakers, grade a subaru are usually pretty good, may be worth finding out if they are the same size as the impreza hatch, As for roof cleaners ut's a pain as I tried once and got soaked, resorted to taking it to an auto valeting place where they had a wet vac, if you replay want a go at it yourself, autoglym do a foam shampoo spray which is a bit easier to work with than the normal cleaning agents
  12. 3m tape nick, that's what comes with them, and mine are taped and clipped in. You going to martins sat ? I'm back down as the prop seal is weeping,
  13. Www.importcarparts.co.uk your best bet, if you can't find them there give them a bell usually have most stuff in stock Has the bearing chewed up the hub ? I
  14. Massive purchase today of some vac hose to replace some shabby bits
  15. Could be many things, Ball joint, arb droplinks, arb bush, suspension topmount, Start with the ball joint, Jack car up give the offending wheel a wiggle see if there's any play, also get a pry bar between the arm and see if there's any up down movement, Then the rest would be visual inspection of the bushes, if you end up changing them and it still persists i'd hazard a guess at the top mount but as they are the most expensive of the list, start by eliminating everything else before changing that
  16. Yeah they hut me with the vat chestnut when I bought my catch can booo ! Noticed I don't have the blanket install pics any more apart from one sat on the turbo, the cars back on the lift Saturday so I'll grab an underside pic then
  17. I installed mine with the turbo in place just used a set of ramps and some needle nose pliers, was a bit fiddly as the blanket is pretty stiff when new. An extra pair of hands would have been helpful but doable on your own, I'll dig out a pic or two
  18. Are you after an oem part or aftermarket ?
  19. Have a look behind the disc atvthe dust shield, could have some horrible crap stuck there and only rubs when turning ?
  20. Just the random way it reads ! I usually do from cold and dip at least twice that way I just average it out over both sides, Least it's not as hard as trying to dip the 'box
  21. Looks like my propshaft/gearbox seal is weeping, [emoji25]
  22. Cheers bud, Another thing to add to the list of stuff [emoji3]
