  1. I'd go solid metal droplinks, front and rear, whitline do silver ones that are half the price of the bronze for some reason, other brands are available ! And juts an uprated rear bar, not sure what size you have as stock but earlier models had the thinnest things ever, I went up to a 22mm on the rear and made a dramatic effect in handling.
  2. Hi, I've sort of replied in the new members section, but it's all good ☺ you'll need to get the gearbox code off the vin plate to at least work out what ratios it's running, would make life a lot easier if you could find a manual with the same ones as would involve less work in the long run
  3. I'm going to aim to get to one or if not both japshow's Which ones at castle coombe ? local ish to me so that or mod nats Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
  4. I can't answer that I'm afraid as mine doesn't have a rad cap, presume so but wouldn't like to say
  5. Yes mate sorry !
  6. The overflow should only be at max when hot, maybe it's too full and is just having a little wee ?
  7. Sorry I've altered my post should read 130k haha. Everyone has third own views on mappers I used Duncan and I'm happy as have other people here. Best off dropping him an email to see what he advises, you will probit ally need to replace the fuel pump for an uprated unit to avoid leaning off under increased boost
  8. I'm. On android so can't really say the developer is a chap called Ian Hawkins
  9. Ipad won't work with Bluetooth Chinese ebay dongle you'll have to use a wifi one, not sure about ipad software but the torque app is really good again don't know if on Apple store
  10. Hello 55k !that's barely run in ! Most of us are on much more than that my self and ghost were over 130k when we had ours mapped, mines been done more for better running, increase in torque and hp was a bonus but it wasn't my sole aim, stock clutch is good for circa 300bhp so i'd get it done and not really worry too much, the y are robust cars and take to mods reasonably well
  11. Hello, they are a hit of a pain to bleed, easiest way is to lift front end slightly, turn heaters on, run engine with rad cap off and massage the bottom hose, easier with two people as one can watch for air being expelled and top up header if needed, when you think you have all air out pop expansion bottle cap on and let cool, check levels a good few hours later, make sure the overflow is between the two lines on and header & rad are full, I'm assuming you have a header tank not seen a hawk bay recently, If it's the oem subaru rads they have plastic end tanks that crack they are rubbish ! Also check the hoses coming from the header to turbo, sometimes they work loose and you get a bit of leakage

At least the exchange rate is more favourable at the moment, almost killed the saloon a couple years back,
  13. I'd suspect the 'sealant' is 'steel seal' type stuff supposed to 'fix' small cracks in head gaskets, My Bro used it in his punto didn't work taht well he stopped loosing all the water but it put out thick white plumes of exhaust/coolant everywhere he went

  20. Sports cats are about as mot friendly as going in there and slapping the tester across the face, saying that mine wasn't mapped last year and was chucking fuel through the system like it was going out of fashion. You may need to back out the 2nd sensor with an adaptor a but if you do get any error codes you'll be able to possibly remove them with the ssm2 software available on the webs
  21. No idea to be honest as far as I'm aware the ppp was retrofitted anyway, have you seen the engine bay does it have the blue silicone y pipe ? At the end of the day the sti would put out a bit more hp than a ppp kit anyway
  22. Hello, there should be a certificate confirming it's had the prodrive upgrade completed, post up some pics someone may recognise it, I've a link somewhere about the ppp upgrades and lists all the bits fitted Here you go not gospel but gives you an idea http://impreza.co/ppp-subaru-prodrive-performance-pack/
