  1. What's it like compared 5o oem matt ? Appriciate yours isn't your daily did you notice much difference ?
  2. I've been banned from doing non essential maintenence after the captive nut disaster [emoji25] Still managed an oil change and booked in for cv boot and mot sat, possibly engine mount upgrade too
  3. Anyone got these on their car ? Debating weather to get them on the car at the weekend, Seen a fair few posts on other forums about really bad nvh, seeing as I already have gearbox cross member & pitch stop I can't see it making that much difference ?? Opinions please
  4. Can you take a pic end on maybe someone with a high level do the same and compare ?
  5. Tim at scooby parts has them in stock give him a bell i'm sure he'll measure one for you, The step I wad referring to was the angle it's at not the bit on the base, does your spoiler have a bit more rake to it than a normal high level Chris ?
  6. Yes it will give you better mpg, before map I saw 21-25 mpg, I now see around 28-30 even higher if on a long motorway run, get around 330-350 form a tank (classic size) now too, You'll get more horsepower more torque and increased mpg, Mines paid for it's self in fuel saving in the 10 months since I've had it done
  7. Not sure about yours Chris as it's a more stepped wing if that makes sense, the normal high level spoiler fits fine, Gambit has them on one of his maybe worth asking him for a close up pic of his stiffy ! [emoji33]
  8. Sorry mate forgot http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/ http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/
  9. Depends where your coming from I suppose, vag, vauxhall, ford, those boys tend to break it down into stage 1,2 3 panel filter, map, then something else after, Maybe it's easier to describe to their mates down maccy d's [emoji23] Agreed that low mpg needs addressing, maybe get it on a dyno before you decide to upgrade to see what it's doing and if all is working ok
  10. Debatable depends on who you ask, classics are more 'raw' lighter and less compromising where as newage are bigger, better equipment more comfy etc
  11. I presume the engine has had some work done ?
  12. I've seen the car and can vouch for it's condition ☺ what's caught your eye mate ? Good luck with the sale
  13. Try grade a subaru on ebay I'll dig up some links
  14. Have you tried subaru to see if they actually did a bar ? Can't ever recall seeing them to be honest. I guess taking the front wheels off and chucking them in the back isn't an option
  15. Standard one is only good up to about 300 ish, Exedy pink Box should be ok
  16. Dunc at @ race dynamix is fairly close to you a load of us have used him here, drop him a mail and see what he comes back with
  17. That's it I've also seen them for around 50 quid so haven't a clue I'll let you be a guenna pig [emoji1]
  18. Snap !I'm looking at them too mate,a though they seem to range between cheap and silly money, i'm sure there are ones that will fit just a question of finding out, have you looked at any US sites ?
  19. Hi mate, where has the loom been cut ? Are you after an original head unit or putting something after market in ? Subaru seem to use totally different wiring colours between models let alone years [emoji33] pita but it's just a case of patience
  20. Good work on the hoses[emoji1] I didn't get any better throttle response at low rece's although the turbo spools up a couple hundred rpm earlier with the increased air flow, as well as being able to take the cooler off easier lol, Catch can would work it's one of the things I'm looking at doing, just scared of chopping the wrong lines, to do it properly a twin can set up is suppose to be the best but 1 would work fine
  21. Have you had it mapped for the changes ? May be that the various sensors are being confused by the metered air & pressure not being there,
  22. Easiest would be to jack up at diff, undo everything swap them over do up loosely put car back on ground then tighten it all up to torque specs
  23. Have a look around as moat aftermarket centres are only 100 ish if your not bothered a bout it being resonated
  24. Mod Nat, mod live, japshow, jap fest, grr should all have names that don't sound like each other much easier ! Where's japfest then ?
  25. Balls i'm thinking of cadwell ! Too early when I wrote the post
