  1. They do keep you smiling, even when stuff goes wrong
  2. I agree, nice wheels and a good price, now got me searching for more things to buy.
  3. I'm looking at eventually getting just over 300hp out of my car as well. Manageable and less stress through components hopefully meaning better reliability.
  4. Could be interesting, and a great way to procrastinate...
  5. That's a nice little amount of power coming, and I would think 300hp is a good amount for a daily driver.
  6. I think it looks pretty good.
  7. They are a nice looking car, although I admit I did have to google it to confirm which car it was. Haven't seen one for a long while...
  8. Don't have a boost guage at the moment so not sure about that. Would any of them kick up an error code? Was planning on doing a service next Sunday because I have it off work but might try and get it done on Tuesday. Don't have leads as they look newish but will get new ones if the service doesn't fix it.
  9. Well it is coming soon....
  10. Replaced a clip on a hose to stop it leaking, hopefully a very cheap and cheerful fix to stop my power delivery problems
  11. The picture is sideways, but it is the hose going from just by the yellow cap to the turbo. I have put a new clip on it and revved and it hasn't loosened but I haven't been for a drive. Could that be the cause? Thanks
  12. Can always get it wrapped afterwards as well. And keep the blue Underneath for better re sale value if you decide to sell at any point.
  13. Re spray and dent. Not respect and debt. Autocorrect
  14. Wrapped with dents underneath looks bad as far as I know. Has to bee decent paintwork. And £1000 for a respect abd debt fixing seems like a very very good price.
  15. I had selected the photo but not hit upload apparently. Should be attached now
  16. Pic. Should be attached to the former post. But not sure if it worked from phone.
  17. This is the pub
  18. Had a look today after work. A hose that connects just to the bottom left of intercooler is loose (If looking from above) Pushed it back on and it seemed better, then halfway home it started again, Checked when I got home and µe hose had come lose again and leaked some liquid. What is this hose? Also seems perished at end so will be replacing it I think, Took a photo bat photo bucket isn't Working at the moment and am only on tablet at the moment.
  19. Never done any work with anything turbo related before. Can someone tell me exactly where te pipes and hoses are and the solenoid and how to clean it? Would search myself but at work and not really meant to be on here... Thanks
  20. Have a turbo 2000 that isn't running properly. As soon as on boost the power isn't coming smoothly but is jerky. And the power isn't as high as it should be. When revved freely without load everything sounds ok and the turbo sounds like normal. Have fixed the front calipers from sticking. So what else can it be? And any candidates more likely than the other? Will running it on 95 Ron have this affect? And maybe a service? It something more severe?
  21. Welcome, glad you are enjoying the car.
  22. Could be worth looking at the list of breakers found here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/593-subaru-breakers-for-parts/?hl=breakers I haven't used them but they may have something. I have used HDC Subaru in Hebden Bridge (http://www.hdcsubaru.com/) and they are always friendly with good prices. Hope this helps
  23. I had always assumed they're was the standard size and all connection points were that size and then tapered to a bigger bore. Unless the whole system was replaced with a bigger system. But always good to learn
  24. I saw the post about Japfest 2 just after reading this one....
  25. Well I am definitely interested in this, will have to wait a month or so to confirm, looking at placements over the summer but should be available on the Sunday :)
