  1. Arr come on you can't just say that Matt and not tell us how it went Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. With a bit of rust on the arches £1.5 to £2k ish when I was looking a couple of yrs ago Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. I read somewhere that a classic turbo back will fit a newage as it's the downpipes that are a different length, so new age cat backs have a shorter center section . classics also have a extra hanger on the back box but yet again it's only what I've read ,not from personal experience as I've only ever owned classics Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. I wouldn't say it was dead in the water as I've never seen a na scoob . I like to do things a bit different and would see how much it would cost to get a by pass pipe made up (if it looks like it would work) as that would probably be much cheaper than borla headers. Best of luck bud Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Can't remember what the autoglym stuff is called but the label is green and it says it's for plastic trim on the bottle bud Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Pressure seems about right for a standard engine running 10w 40
  7. Sorry i Just had a look through my pics and the upipe flange isn't quite horizontal but it looks like it's a slightly different angle than the na Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. The upipe is a separate part on classic headers too but the flange the upipe bolts to sits horizontal whereas the na looks to have a vertical flange . Hence why I thought you'd need to fabricate a upipe by pass pipe .
  9. I haven't got much experience with the later twin scroll turbo headers but I do know that you have to fit the oil pick up and sump in order to make them fit a 2ltr turbo . The main reason (as far as I'm aware) that you can't fit turbo unequal headers to a na scoob is because the na doesn't have a up pipe. therfore you'd have to fabricate a upipe/downpipe by pass section that connects the cat back to the headers Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. On the classics the side skirts need to be removed to gain access to the bolt at the bottom of the wing Headlights/sidelights need to be removed to gain access to 2 bolts that connect it to the front inner wing . I can't remember if the front bumper needs to be removed but the arch liner does so if you remove that you might be able to see if there's any bolts that are not accessible with the bumper in situ. I can post a few pics from my old shell but it's a classic so there might be a few differences between them . Failing that just offer up the replacement wing to see where the fixing bolt holes are bud
  11. I use autoglym stuff on all the black plastic and rubber ,works well and Halfords sell it
  12. Imprezas with 4 pots run 294 mm vented discs and they fit under 17's fine fella
  13. Lunch is for wimps beer n coffee keeps me going lol Woke up fairly early this morning [emoji15] So decided to go for a bit of a B road drive and probably woke everyone else up while doing so ,returned home via shell a hr later still grinning at lunchtime
  14. That's a original v1 / v2 sti interior so will fit fine fella
  15. Sorry I didn't call you back last night kev I only got your pm this morning as I had to spend a night watching films with the Mrs rather than surfing scooby stuff
  16. Front seats will fit ,door cards definitely won't but I'm unsure if the rear bench will fit
  17. Hi n welcome Do you get any excessive noise from the ps pump ? Are the Belt condition /tension and fluid levels ok ?
  18. They are a bit fiddly just make sure the jubilee clip is nice and loose on the turbo outlet to y pipe and that you get the under side on first so you can see it's on properly. Sometimes holding the tmic almost vertical, getting the y pipe on and then twisting it into position works too . You could try loosening the tmic to block bracket bolts but only if you can get to them once the tmic is back on . I'm sure you'll suss it bud don't panic
  19. No problem bud Sorry I wasn't much help with the electrical side of things as it's not my strong point either Looks good though
  20. Cheers chap i do prefer the look of the polar black but they don't look that glossy for long as the poxy brake dust turns em matt after 50 miles lol Well I've been thinking about upgrading the brakes for a while so when a set of recently refurbished brembos with nearly new discs ,red stuff pads and braided lines cropped up I grabbed em Gave them a check over and a coat of wheel sealant Although they're both 4 pots the brembos are much bigger and run 30 mm bigger discs Had to fit 3 mm spacers to give enough clearance but I'm happy with them Just got to paint the rear 2 pots "dog nob " red to match [emoji4]
  21. Yeah loads of people hate cheap chinky stuff and rightly so, I'd never take a punt on a cheap turbo or laptop but I bought my depo as a cheap option until I'd saved enough to buy a toucan /syvecs (cheap gauge is better than no gauge) 3yrs ,12k miles ,2 engines and 1.5 bar later it still works ok and I've spent the defi money a few times over . I found advance automotive very helpful when asking tech support questions about the £500+ pistons I'd bought off them but unfortunately most tuning companies haven't got the time to just be helpful and have got the "buy expensive buy once" mindset which doesn't suit me as my pockets ain't that deep
  22. No bud temp in the bung over number 3 oil pressure in place of the factory oil pressure wiring (behind the alternator) [emoji6]
  23. I know admitting you have a problem is the normally the first step ....... But I've found that once you've started modding a scoob it's just one big slippery slope from there I started off by telling the Mrs "just a exhaust n remap then I'll be happy" .... 3yrs, forge build ,6 speed and a reshell later I'm happy but by no means finished[emoji4]
  24. Ghost , Although it's sold as a kit it's not subaru specific and you need a brass Ferrell to fit the oil temperature sender into a bung over cylinder number 3 (hottest cylinder)
  25. I was quite surprised how much bigger they are than the subaru 4 pots and even more surprised that I had to run the 3 mm spacers make my wide offset rims fit. The pic's a bit rubbish as by the time I finished fitting them it was getting a bit dark so I had to enhance the pic on my phone so you could see it properly.
