  1. Gaze on my WR1 you Audis and tremble :D :D :D
  2. Thanks for completing the loop - I have no doubt this is going to be useful in the future and £20 that is a more than fair price
  3. Tom - just to clear something up - some Subaru alarms suffered interference if they were close to an antenna. Can we rule that out in this case? You can reprogramme using the keypad, so if you need to replace the fobs you can - problem is I dont think the transponder is a separate unit. here is a picture of the M30 alarm you can see key fobs, sensors, siren and ECU but no separate transponder unit
  4. Some Blueprint ones here that may fit, I have dealt with these suppliers before and they were helpful so might be worth a call to confirm http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-LEGACY-2-5i-OUTBACK-5-2003-12-2009-NEW-HT-LEADS-SET-COMPLETE-/300816601869?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item460a11130d
  5. It does vary per garage - we have seen amounts from 150 - 300 plus on the site, recently a member has seen a receipt for a main dealer cambelt change and service for £1200 I see you are not too far from Gloucester we have a Subaru specialist garage on here, MD Developments, it might be worth a call to them mention the forum and see what they come back with. the belts themselves vary dependant on make / spec (kevlar or not) - I dont know if you have a DOHC engine but SOHC belts prices are about half of the DOHC. given the mileage you may want to consider a kit which replaces the pulleys as well as the belt
  6. Wotcha and welcome Tom - we have quite a few Fozzy owners on here and the knowledge pool is building, feel free to have a browse and if you have some photos to share it stops me getting a headache with too much text :D
  7. Great looking car - I must admit the first two shots genuinely made me smile, no1 being partially obscured by a bike and no2 in the dark :D
  8. Wotcha and welcome - great looking motor - I like the smoked fog lights :)
  9. As Jonny said - check your ECU for fault codes how to guide http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2366-manually-reading-ecu-codes-classic-shape-only/
  10. Wotcha and welcome - If anything they will compliment the Bilsteins as they will be linking them together and allowing them to work more effectively, the shocks themselves are all about the damping effect - movement in relation to the undulations in the road and forces created by the cars travel. Bracing will ensure they are not as susceptible to any flexing / movement around the mounting point meaning they can operate around there own designed movement up and down consistently.
  11. Not seen that site but that looks great and opens up some cheaper options for your classic owner - might be talking to them about twin turbo legacies as well see what they can do with that :)
  12. yup Pete there are a few of us all keen to see how your nuts tighten - just how do you go about it, particularly to avoid damage or strain
  13. better than boot polishing them  - old military ref there
  14. just found these which look a lot like the original picture, not sure they will fit yours though ?? - now not convinced the ones in the first pic are OZ they look like the spokes have a groove in them and are flatter than the OZ spokes http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-WRX-STI-Enkei-Gold-alloy-wheels/141194812049?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D286%26meid%3D4928880867881226468%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D251452266252%26
  15. As with PC's - its all in the spec - the better the spec the more expensive the parts ;)
  16. Yup let them get up to temp before getting on the loud pedal and let them calm down at the end of it
  17. Yup plus gas is good stuff :)
  18. December last year http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-P1-alloys-by-OZ-wheels-fully-re-furbished-From-Scoobyclinic-/221340104708? March last year http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/subaru-impreza-P1-oz-17-alloy-wheels-freshly-refurbed-/300877374672?nma=true&si=67lc7N8yK%252FURUxcUnj0tw%252FNKrko%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 both 300 - 400
  19. Wotcha and welcome - do you have any photos you would care to share?
  20. It sounds pretty spot on so far, should be a good platform - you might want to check all the pistons in the calipers are free, been a few of those on the forum recently you may have seen
