nice one buddy - looks like you got a great deal there and as stated they are pretty solid - some of the early s13 / sylvia engines had issues with cams - being described as chocolate, although I had no such issues
That is a great result, good to hear they will at least look to rectify the issue, gives you time to look about and decide who you would like to complete the higher spec rebuild
I don't think you will have an issue with that motor, should be a nice result when done - agree with Gambit I can see your mum pushing to exchange the sport for your turbo project once that is completed :D
just watched a bit of the pre season testing, dont think ill be watching any more - the sound the cars now make is awful I couldnt sit and watch that for 2 hours :(
I remember that Carlton - it was a huge amount of work they did on it just for it to be slammed, shame.
I agree I think it would sit nicely in a classic - unfortunately one isn't coming along for me anytime soon otherwise I would keep it for my 22b replica :)
The 4 pin box will be the relay, the Hellas will draw more current so if there is no relay in the circuit already you use the relay to have a dedicated supply from the battery but triggered using the existing loom from the switch in the car. That way it doesnt overload the existing wiring.
Gambit has installed them so he will be able to describe his own approach
Four spoke Italian leather steering wheel - will fit onto momo steering boss, some age related marks in leather, no tears or repairs cost over £200 back in the day looking for £80
postage will be dependant on destination etc plus I haven't weighed it yet ;)
mate that is a hell of a link but damn....
where is the rest of the car in the photo you posted that just looks the ****** and I can only see a fraction of the front quarter!!!
.... its good, but it didnt make me lumpy, so not in my top 10 :P
I need to at least be able to imagine the sweet scent of WD40 or something similar, various 2T additives are good, to get the desired reaction
