  1. Well the K&N will have a 100K miles lifespan so a quick clean out and it should be fine - keep a camera handy and feel free to create a thread in the build section, share your progress 👍
  2. Depends on what you define as cheap - having lived in Scotland for many years I would say the answer is no..... 😁 However consider: High flow panel filter New higher flow fuel pump Decat down pipe higher flowing exhaust system (cannot remember if you have x2 cats or not) Remap
  3. US site but gives a part number http://www.shopresponse.com/oem-subaru-key-plate-blank-57497kg020/
  4. I know x2 people who have used these chaps - specifically the Bristol franchise but they do come recommended plus have many options on location - will be getting my Vito done by them in Worcester https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/
  5. Stuart Hammond also breaks scoobs - find him on facebook think he has an 03 in at the moment
  6. Which fuses have you checked - Under the bonnet and in the drivers foot well, whislt intalling teh mic it is possible you have loosened a connection or caused an earth behind the dash
  7. does this help?? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6Tg7ZPMAwxqaHZBZk5UYkVXczA
  8. That, again is a contributing factor - the lower the profile the stiffer the tyre wall the less give there is the firmer the ride however the suspension form a damping persective if of basic quality will be 'crashy' whenever hitting a bump and can also tend to bounce across the road as opposed to soaking up the changes
  9. Wotcha and welcome - for parts crossover look at WRX or WRX S, STI's have a completely different setup. Dependent on what parts you are looking for there are multiple locations
  10. Not sure about the springs bit - only thing I had read before was PPP kit http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/index.php/prodrive/sacc2565.html brochure here https://impreza.co/ppp-subaru-prodrive-performance-pack/
  11. I would not know how that would affect your diff - Chances are your speedo will be out as well
  12. Not sure is Subaru would still supply. Seem to do before and after your year http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=mats Alternative? http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=97
  13. As above - save your money get a panel filter K&N, Cosworth, Pipercross all good
  14. Not necessarily, it all depends on how much you spend, the potential adjustment on a set of coilovers is considerably more than the stock setup if you go for a better quality option. I would not spend £300 - 400 on a set of coilovers vs stock setup as that stands a very high risk of buying something that will rust very quickly and return a very harsh ride. however when you get upto £1500 mark you have variable damping and the ability to balance the car on each corner to get an equal distribution of weight, decent damping will give a great ride even on UK roads. For what you are looking for KYB would be ideal, have used them for many years as OEM replacement items - most recently on my lads Mitsi colt and will be using them on a 1989 Toyota Camry shortly 👍
  15. Not fitted 19's myself but from previous posts whilst they will look good your handling will suffer particularly on the earlier scoobs. due to the smaller tyre wall the risd is firmer and you may find the car more skittish. But dependent on your driving style you may not mind this and will be willing to sacrifice the ride for the looks Changing the size of wheel and then associated tyre to maintain the rolling radius will not change the ride height or the wheel gap - it is the spring / damper setup or bolting on fender flares which would change those
  16. Yes you should be able to use the ODB port and the equipment Savage has suggested plus another option is Tactrix openport 2.0
  17. wont be friendly for every track but if you have a diverter valve option then you can choose volume
  18. Nice - got some aftermarket grillage in there as well 👍
  19. And the associated electrical string, relays and fuse mounts, wire for the loom extension matches ok the green yellow isnt perfect but hey ho
  20. Well function over form - price you have to pay for increased performance - good enough for RCM gobstoppers - maybe consider a screamer pipe to compensate??
  21. Try this site for alternative lights - I have used the 20Twenty brand LED alternatives and been very pleased, better than OSRAM Nightbreakers https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/subaru-outback-suv-2010-10.html
  22. hopefully that will throw up an error code that can be used in doagnosis
