  4. yup went through this the other week - I was advised it is impacting legacy models more than imprezas but if there is an issue it is an all day job to replace teh lines as rear axle needs to be dropped and the cars interior carpet needs to come out
  5. Looking great - some real progress there

Apparently it affects legacies more - it is the metal hoses that run to the rear of the car, where they come out from inside the car there is a protective shield that sometimes does not cover all of the metal piping leading to corrosion. If it does need doing it means back axle off all interior out to replace the pipes - all day job Chap at the Subaru garage reckoned they had done over 200 inspections and only found 1 that required changing but Subaru have been covering all the expenses
  9. Type R - Yummy!
  10. Completed the safety recall inspection - no issues, apparently it has been more of an issue on Legacies not Imprezas. Mechanic thought it amusing when I asked the chap in the Subaru showroom why they had a picture of a Ferrari F1 car on the wall? Don't think that I was the first person to ask that 😆

Yup holes are getting ridiculous - KFord tyres reckon they can sort the alloys at £45 a corner as they were not cracked, they have bought a new machine purely because of the amount of damage they were seeing coming in. Likewise ill keep an eye out
  13. hmmm well fingers crossed it comes through and quite rightly needs to be confirmed electronically or on paper
  14. Recieved a safety recall letter about brake fluid leaks due to possible corrosion.... inspection booked in Star Wars day

Grey R sport (no scoop) and might have been if there were no spaces at Fort Knox out front.... Fortunately it is not the scoob alloys that need work - just splashed on some OZ's to replace x3 pot hole bent originals - looking at getting those fixed but didnt know how extensive the damage was before sourcing new ones Running these now so can be recognised

  21. Hi - clean motor - might help the sale if you have a price in mind although it is the ideal family run around?
  22. Wotcha and welcome, plenty of breaker options, potentially impreza front seats will fit the rails
  23. hmmm with a properly set up motor and a sports cat you should pass it no problem ? It might be a related issue as above I would check with scooby world, how long ago was map done, are your plugs & filter in good order have your injectors ever been cleaned?
  24. Lovely motor - good luck with the sale, would be great if someone from the forum took it on
  25. wotcha and welcome - looking good!!
