  2. Well a mate of mine would disagree, his didn't even get it fully run in before it spat its crank.
  3. Holy cow, yeah that is gonna take some fixing :)
  4. you've been very very lucky then.
  5. If being left stood i'd invest in a battery conditioner, batterys dont like constant charge flat charge flat, i used to get through one a year when i was hardley using mine. Could well be the battery is now nackered, take it off and run it down to local battery place, they normaly test em for free. Just leave one of these connected and your battery charging trouble are sorted. http://www.amazon.co.uk/CTEK-4-Step-Battery-Charger-Conditioner/dp/B00JMJHZ4E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1442230736&sr=8-2&keywords=battery+conditioner
  6. I tend to find different tyre brands prefer different pressures as well.
  7. with a 2.5 if the headgaskets go, you must do the crank bearings as well. clinic just finished rebuilding a hatch engine for someone who the previous company didn't and before it was even run in crank bearings failed.
  8. You can get full track exhaust systems that are designed to be free flowing but keep noise levels down. Got a cobra system on my car and my old hawk and isn't restrictive at all
  9. Welcome. rear arches go from the inside out, so is a pretty big job.
  10. http://www.scoobynet.com/car-parts-for-sale-437/1029367-hel-performance-blue-braided-brake-lines-to-clear.html assuming there the right fitment ;)
  11. Hate to say it but its buyer beware unless you can prove they knowingly sold you a duffer. On the flip side you could have gone otu and thrashed it blowing it up. Not saying that's the case at all, i'm just saying how he would counter argue. will prob be in the 2-3k mark :(
  12. i think cobra do one?
  13. check its sitting on the runner right behind the door car

  15. the good old butt dyno, wonder what its actualy running. Tis an interesting thing though. its all about how it drives, not the figures
  16. haha yeah :D
  17. I've kinda given up worrying about the bill hahaha
  18. to be fair it really depends on how hard you launch it and how many times, subaru gearbox's arn't mega strong, you chuck a 6 speed in, but they still fail if you start really giving it some stick.
  19. few spare gearbox's will help ;) lol
  20. Only a small update. Heads are still off at the machine shop having new valve guides fitted. But a bit mroe damage was found and some of the exhaust valves and were not salvagable. So all the exhaust valves are being replaced with supertech valves. Hopefully 26th will be the pickup date, but its a bit dependent on how long it takes for ht heads to come back. starting to get into kid at Christmas mode now hahaha :D
  21. cool, can't ask for more than that. he gotta run it in?
