Hate to say it but its buyer beware unless you can prove they knowingly sold you a duffer. On the flip side you could have gone otu and thrashed it blowing it up. Not saying that's the case at all, i'm just saying how he would counter argue. will prob be in the 2-3k mark :(

to be fair it really depends on how hard you launch it and how many times, subaru gearbox's arn't mega strong, you chuck a 6 speed in, but they still fail if you start really giving it some stick. -

Only a small update. Heads are still off at the machine shop having new valve guides fitted. But a bit mroe damage was found and some of the exhaust valves and were not salvagable. So all the exhaust valves are being replaced with supertech valves. Hopefully 26th will be the pickup date, but its a bit dependent on how long it takes for ht heads to come back. starting to get into kid at Christmas mode now hahaha :D

Maltese imports used to be basicly uk spec without a cat 1 alarm and some additional colors to choose from.

there not mega expensive anyway, circa £50-75 a set iirc -
came in on the 95 onwards, so v2. always one who has to cause trouble and be different :p lol

nope, not all new age have avcs, also some have single some duel. hawk wrx is single and sti duel, not sure other than that though im afraid. o r yours is a hwk wrx isnt so single

Check chassis plates and only use other things as steering wheel etc as a guide. Even rear wipers can be retrofitted. Why specificly a uk model? classic ST is a considerable step up on a uk turbo.
