  1. yeah import and dvla are not normaly a good mix lol check out your vin umber as well lol
  2. Not surprised at all, i sit at the limit or within 10% due to spedo being out ;) lol and the amount of cars that fly by and then brake at the cameras is pretty comical
  3. WRX STi VERSION III V-LIMITED GC8D4ED TY752VBCAA EJ20KDW6PR 280 5 speed wont be an ra, GC8D4DD is the RA code
  4. pindering what route to take with it all !Removed! day and still not decided. does that count?
  5. There in lies your problem, your lucky not to have blown up the engine. Changing the turbo is a big no no without getting it mapped to suit.
  6. It varys from car to car, some cars will make 350 safely, others will make 310 and take no more timing without detting.
  7. As above, no pic. Could be anything from a manual boost controler to anything. Would advise not touching it unless you know what your doing.
  8. Depending in who you speak to 330ish normal sort of results on new age sti with decat and map, turbo is the limiting factor. Beware mappers or tuners claiming high figures because there either bs or pushed so hard during mapping they run to agressive timing and suffer det issues.

    turbo

ah right, hats a tad different then. Rods will limit you to around 400, but could put a larger turbo on it and push it up towards 400. Sc42 will be about right and will spool well on a 2.5. injectors may need an upgrade.

    turbo

Im assuming yoru still running the standard 2.5 engine? First port of call is rebuild with proper pistons, rods and such if your wanting to boost performance. as long as yours is ok £4k should be enough to get it done properly. You could try decat, panel filter and map, but is a risk on the standard 2.5

    turbo

haha yeah, welcome to the world of tuning. Did you have a budget in mind?

    turbo

500bhp at the wheels is around 600bhp at the fly, that is some mega power and gonna be a serious build, £20k by the time all support mods are in place at a guess. Bear in mind will be a full overhaul of engine, fuel system, gearbox, clutch, turbo, ecu etc etc. why so much? whats the most powerfull scoob you have driven?

    turbo

full engine rebuild, lots of supporting mods and £500 for a 700bhp turbo is waaaaaay too cheap. leave well alone. What is it your trying to achieve?
  14. Blue smoke = oil burning White smoke = water Black smoke = fuel unless your seeing lots of black smoke out of it i wouldn't worry to much, if in doubt just give clinic a bell and can always run it back to em to give once over.
  15. thast cheap. rear arches rust from inside out, so when it becomes visible there will be inner arch issues as well, how far the rot has gone wont be know until they strip it back and see how deep the rust goes.
  16. need to match it with light weight fly wheel or its pointless
  17. way ott price wise. 30k is roughly where a sale price will be
  18. cdb 2.1 was origional plan :( i know needs some lovin, reminds me need to ping kev a mail
  19. yeah im at work. in the week aint a great day for it
  20. Do tourself a favour, put it on ebay and take the money. Total waste of money im afraid mate, drive it steady to let it warm up for first few miles, drive it steady last few miles to let it cool down. Turbo timers dont allow all fluids to circulate properly and cool evenly so are not worht it.
  21. plans have kinda gone backwards so not sure what route now. I'll let ya know cheers
