depending on midel, the impreza's leveling is done by mechanical linkage, but on the front lower arm, it tends to corrode and break off !Removed! up the leveling, as mentioned above. proper fix is a new lower arm, but in reality a quick weld will prob solve the problem 😉

yeah its the fuel filter,

i would imagine tbreakers have plenty of them so could trying ringing round a few, i expect a new one will cost an arm, leg and a kidney from subaru. as far as welding one, no idea if its a good or bad idea

subaru gearbox's do get described as being a bit notxhy and take a bit of getting used to (i switch between a ford foucs and a hawk sti and damn does it take a few mins to switch my brain over haha). as far as clutch position and stifness is totaly dependant on the clutch thats in it, how worn it is etc. im not sure how the 6 speed in the xv compares to the 6 speed in the impreza sti's (i shall go and do some digging out of interest), but the 6 speed sti box is mega strong, but as said a bit notchy so takes some getting used to

few folks i know over in NI get a ferry over and have it done over here, not exactly cheap, but some good roads over here to go on a trip on 😉

bit late to the party, but i went tein flex z and been really pleased with them.

some people say yes, some say no, for me i'd only run it on 99 even if it costs £10 a tank more, cheaper than an engine rebuild.

if its the brake line goiong from the front of the car to the back its a ball ache as it goes over and under all over the place.

breaker will prob have plenty of these, might not be in the right colour though. As far as carbon goes, it's are rarley a perfect fit. Really depends what you want to do, its not an uncommon mod

So cars back, not alot to show tbh, cant see any difference, apart from lighter wallet haha. One side neeeded a couple of areas cut out and patched (pretty small areas) other side was ok, just needed a clean up and reundersealing. Passed its mot without even a minor after that 😄

i wouldnt let him anywhere near my car even if he paid me. seen plenty of people shafted by him, including one on here despite my warning before hand. He doesnt put enough time into mapping it (you can't map 10 cars ina day), he doesnt road test following a dyno map, he maps when the cars have sensor faults (no you cant map round a duff sensor) and when things go wrong he hides and stopps responding. He was labeled Dungkhan by andy forrest so that should tell you something, not to mention he doesnt dare post on any forums any more after being shown to be technicly enepty by multiple tuners and mappers.

Well balls. Went for its mot yesterday and failed 😞 sills need doing. So back on a flatbed and off up to clinic for some tlc, I can't imagine this is gon a be cheap 😞

So becuase my car is a limited run the vin is a bit all over (gearbox came back as a 2008 wrx box lol) But i came across this site and it seems to be pretty bang on, https://legacypic.uk/identification/vinSearch.php picked up mine is an sti limited, which is the first time ive actualy seen it listed correctly

welcome. uk and jdm vin numbers are totaly different in composition, so pretty easy to tell from that.
