  1. Forged engine build, suspension set up, brakes, aftermarketecu, etc etc. 450 is a big build so yiur gonna be £20k+ if yiu want to do it roght and reliably.
  2. Wrx is alot more similar to UK spec than the sti's. You also don't get many jdm wrx's brought over as they arnt worth the extra cost over a UK one.
  3. Welcome
  4. Gonna get alot of opinions on this. I use scoobyclinic for all my work. I would seriously advise staying away from racedynamix, aka duncan gayham. Total cowboy.
  5. As above, i would seriously recomend not using one in something that will crash if it packs up.
  6. oof, royal steering wheels do recovering if you fancy going that route. no idea on price but they do look dam good when they are done
  7. haha yeah. tbh if your planning to keep it a while and wanting to tune it then it might be worth looking at getting the engine sorted. Not cheap (well prob will be compared ot bmw prices haha), circa 5k+ for proper closed deck forged build.
  8. aye, unfortunatly i dont know any friendly MOT stations your way who can help 😞
  9. Yeah, any new subaru i buy i drive it like miss daisy till i;ve had it given a one over and run on a dyno
  10. Mine passes on sports cats no problem, and you know how tuned mine is hahaha
  11. no no its fine dude, im by no means any sort of expert or have any real knowledge on the subject so its all based on my understanding from what i've heard, which alot is prob BS lol.
  12. i know some folks who havn't had issues and some folks who have. it's better to get it checked and it be fine than not get it checked and cost you an engine.
  13. Importcarparts is good for new parts. failing that try some of the tuners/breakers. Personaly i would want it mapped for uk fuela dn dyno'd to make sure all is ok before drivign it hard
  14. ah, torque is a bit lower than i woudl expect for a 2.1 :S
  15. noice, what are your plans for modding it?
  16. main thing im looking at is fuel/boost but its hard to see whats what. What turbo is it on? im guessing its a 2.0?
  17. got any other graphs?
  18. welcome, looks tidy. bit of a wait that 😮
  19. nah, whouldnt give a positive covid test
  20. one of the guys at wifes work may have gone to hospital with breathing difficulties this monring, havnt had it confirmed, but hes mid 40's. tbh im not too worried about me and gem having it, its more if i pass it onto my mid 70's parents. Cheers folks 🙂
  21. NP, how far you want to go on spending is totaly yup to you. there becomes a point where its just worth saying 'sod it' and trading it in against something else, that point is up to you and what you want to do, Might be a good time to think about upgrading in all truth.
  22. haha nice 😄 Clinic built one with about 450bhp and other than aftermarket wheels and brembo brakes looks stock, proper sleeper 😄

    Headunit

Alot of units have different connectors and will need an addaptor as jay has said/linked. Find the right one and plug it in and job should be a fish.
  24. well im feeling worse today than i did yesterday so looks like im not at the bottom yet. One of Gems work coworkers is not far off being taken into hospital due to breathing difficulties, so all those saying it's not serious really do need to wake up.
  25. It's one of those daft rules. If its there it has to be in good nick, if its not, doesnt matter. It's there due to uk/eu crash regs so personaly i would get another one. Being a bolt on part its not a big job. Part number might be different, but the video shows what to do etc.
