  1. I wish i owned the place hahaha, i've been a customer of theirs for about 15 years 🙂 wasnt a good chapter in the history of them, but was 3 mearly 4 years ago now. You pays your money you makes your choice at the end of the day
  2. i know they have them in london cos of allt he overseas supercars that come in and drive round like loons. but i;d be surprised if there is one there.
  3. prepare for about 20000000 different answers hahaha i always use scoobyclinic over at chesterfield, bit of a trek for you though. not really sure whos any good up that way tbh
  4. Def sounds like power steering related, if the fluid level is ok then i would guess the pump may be on the way out.
  5. Simply put if no paperwork, assume stock engine.
  6. Does sound like potential nocking bottom end, gentle revs, circa 2k you'll ear it, Not saying 100% thats it, but get it checked out and drive it as little as possible till its checked to limit any potential further (and worse) damage
  7. at thata milage i would expect an engine rebuild fairly soon if its not been done already. so if a big bill would be an issue i'd leave it
  8. welcome
  9. welcome, you may find the forrester is better than defender
  10. I use scoobyclinic up at Chesterfield for all my work. Good run up that way from here across the back roads haha
  11. about 3 miles from you, ripley haha
  12. Slight addition, unfortunately adam passed away a few months back but he sold it on well before that, where it's been since he sold it or how its been treated I couldn't say.
  13. Adams old car, guy who worked for scoobyclinic for 15 years or so. Not sure if its got a 6 speed to match the 2.5 (2.5 will shred the 5 box), but other than that a decent enough car. Price wise just depends what someone is willing to pay, to build that for yourself would be 25K + including buying the car.
  14. welcome, give me a wave when you see me. 😄
  15. if by electronic boost controller you mean and after market boost controller, dont both, save your money just use stock system and ecu.
  16. welcome 🙂 get some pics up
  17. as above not many in green about. also steering wheel is on the wrong side? hahahaha
  18. bubbling (water flowing sound behind the dash) in the heater matrix prob nothing to do with headgasket. Mines does it, did it before the rebuild, after the rebuild and has done for 2 years i've had the car, my old wrx did it as well. If it's not using fluid, overheating etc etc then i suspect your worrying about nothing 🙂 By all means sniff test it but i suspect its fine.
  19. wow, the hidden rot will alot worse, may find suspension tops have gone as well. Nice to see them get reserected so good luck and get photos up as you go along 😄
  20. Sounds like you need an alarm specialist to come out and sort it, if theres all sort of patched in systems and no fobs etc will prob be more hassel than just getting it orted once and for all.
  21. https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall although you may need to ring subaru as im not sure how accurate the website actually is.
  22. Welcome. can only reiterate whats been said, with an NA subaru just not worth the cost vs gains. it will work out alot cheaper just to buy a turbo factory model
  23. yeh alwasy a punt, if it is sensor related then happy days, fingers crossed.
  24. sounds about right, turbo will pretty much be the limit of waht it does. where you having it mapped?
  25. F10 or F90 m5 will be my next car, simply cos decat and map and its 700bhp haha
