  1. Really depends on how quick you want to sell it. A quick sale will be nearer the 3k mark, but given how tidy it is someone will come along at some point.
  2. Scoobyclinic by far. up picking up my new car on sat haha
  3. Anit lift kit is a good idea as well as anti roll bars.
  4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-Turbo-Coilovers-GDB-06-07-Model-STi-/222469614706?hash=item33cc38ec72:g:tNwAAOSwAKxWZ3Il i think thats the link? they wont fit yours beigng a wrx
  5. link does work. beware of cheap coilovers though. they are cheap for a reason
  6. No, none subaru place to post :p Only a wild shot but thought i;d throw it up in case anyone is looking for a project. Following on from the engine run away my V50 is now up for sale as spares or repair. it's a 2005 V50 2.0D, covered just over 170k. In dark grey. Suffered engine run away but was stopped before engine totally let go so condition is unknown, however hasn't seized. Reason for runaway is unknown. Recent battery and alternator Scuff on front passenger wing and dent in rear arch and bumper. Alloys all in good condition bar minor scuffing and one with a small patch of bubbling. Tyres all with plenty of tread left. Interior in good condition with one minor tear. I've tried to include all the mentioned damage in the pics, bear in mind its a 12 year old car so will be odd stone ships and such. Given its condition and plenty of value in the parts look at £500. Car will need to be collected from Chesterfield. Any questions let me know.
  7. hmm, find out exactly whos doing the mapping.
  8. So effectively pp2 on clinics site? Ask them the question. i'll see if i can find out what they did
  9. Not sure tbh i would guess mapping at least. What you having done?
  10. Dont know much about them other than clinics had a couple of their cars in to finish them off :S

If camms can't map a car in a few hours then leave well alone. It's a 2-3 hour job assuming no faults are found.
  12. Car isnt designed to stand for long periods so it may well do funny things initialy. as long as it doesnt come back on then your fine.
  13. Benefit was is pumped up the performance a bit but kept the warrenty intact. Given its a 2.5 not a bad thing hahaha
  14. wont make any difference, waters got in between the panels, so waxoil wont do anything. It's not a mega serious job, but your prob looking at £250-400 a side depending on how bad the damage is. People don;t want to buy cars that have to go straight in for work. Get the arches done and you may get 5k for it.
  15. arches are the thing i saw on the pics, they go from inside out so will be alot mroe than just a quick paint, also if ones gone more than likley the other side is going as well. Not a major issue in itself, but still money to be spent to fix it
  16. Seats are the same just retrimmed, when you start looking into the technical side of it the difference are very little, just cosmetic. Also had a solid rear bulk head from what I gather. That said they did do a WR sport pack which was 3 prodrive packs thrown at it, interior, suspension and performance, there's also other options like prodrive brakes and such, but that was all an option rather than basic spec, so just depends what options yours had. Prodrive interior was really nice, had it in my old classic,
  17. So decided to go for it, due to pick it up i a couple of weeks, or when ever the paperwork for the fiesta i picked up last night comes through lol
  18. Mine chatters, its pretty common for it to do it after a front mount is fitted
  19. Slight correction, im referring to the crank sensor,
  20. Given the work it needs £4000 is a reasonable price. I know one priced at £5600 thats been for sale for a good 1-2 years and no bites.
  21. Tidgy replied to Mecka's topic in General Subaru Chat
Also if your doing 25 miles in it each way you want it to be comfortable, BMW 3 series would def be high up my list, as long as you get a decent spec'd one will great for long runs. Or possibly maybe a 5 series, MPG will be lower but again its a cruiser so driving arm chair.
  22. See how you go, i know hes ok for servicing as said, no idea how good his knowledge is on engine rebuilds.
  23. ah wondered if that was the case. Mate of mine uses him for general servicing.
