I'm guessing that should have been tidgy rather than 'todays' hahaha Not sure where school junction is, but assumign about 8ish then 99.999999% was me, don't know any others like it around the area. where you in yours? didn't see you

I'm sick of seeing him ducking peoples cars up matey, i made the same warnings before piggy went and people came out saying hes fine etc etc yet low and behold comes back and it has issues. There's also a new thread going on about him on SN which is yet again him getting a kicking with fault, engines destroyed by detted out pistons etc etc, https://www.scoobynet.com/engine-management-and-ecu-remapping-453/1046445-your-thoughts-on-my-map.html He doesn't have the tech knowledge to cope when something isn't 100% ideal conditions, he doesn't road test after a map which is really bad practice. Even a broken clock is wright twice a day.

Stay clear of dung khan, he managed to duck up pig's car and many others
  7. Something def not right, while you dont need to rev it all teh way to the redline you should easily get it to 6k
  8. classic sti wagon ;)
  9. caught the little sh1te, he had about 30 but chucked them all into a hedge just before i grabbed him. only managed to find 3 of mine.
  10. mine got nicked so stick with good old black plastic now
  11. aye diff was miss matching so rear wheels were going at different speed to fronts, quick diff swap and jobs a fish. As far as the ratio being out it needs to be matched perfectly or you'll get issues that will destroy your diff.
  12. a cunning plan baldrick,,,,,, hahaha
  13. Afraid its not, its pure luck. I know cars that have had 2 engines in 15k miles, some that were babied and failed but then also know some that were abused like a redheaded tiwanese hooker and are still going strong. Here's the 2k long thread on SN about it, https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/828990-2008-2010-2-5ltr-engine-failures.html It's just pure luck
  14. haha, mrs would kill me lol still got the type R though so its only the daily
  15. If its any conciliation im kinda int eh same boat, my daily volvo went bang so now tryign to decide on a replacement. couple of hawk wrx's etates are available and im pondering on the 2.5 issues or leave it be
  16. roughly 4.5k for a proper rebuild assuming no damage. You could possibly get a hawk wrx estate forged, bigger turbo, suspension and brakes for that sort of money and it will be pretty bullet proof. But your gonna be at the top end of your budget. or you could take the chance on the engine. Blob WRX would be cheaper option, engine will be fine at 300-350 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/impreza-wrx/subaru-impreza-wrx/7049555
  17. really depends on budget and if your 100% on needing a hatch/estate?
  18. You could take into account an engine refresh cost in the buying price? but tbh you'll find the audi or vw boring as sin. i went from a hawk wrx (although tuned to 400) to an e46 and it was seriously dull, really nice car but just dull by comparison
  19. Ring land failure, head gasket failure. Not alot you can do, headgasket failure can be check with a snif test but will only tell you it has or hasnt failed and doesnt mean it wont fail 2 miles down the road. Only real fix is rebuild the engine. tis ashame cos built right they are a cracking road engine
  20. nope, even the current brand new ones are an issue.
  21. the 2.5 is a dog, pure pot luck whether it self destructs or not.
  22. already got my private plate thanks ;)
