Welcome! I wouldn't worry about a 2.0 R Sport with 80k on it if it's got a full complete service history. As Stants says a lot of turbo'd older cars on over 100k. Mine just gone over 100k running 280bhp stock and more in last 4 years . It's all down to regular service. Hope your French shoe box sells soon and you find a good Hawk. Yeah mine too!! Probably something like a carb cleaner and allow to drain for a bit. Also when was the oil last changed? And did you use a different oil?

Does the car rough idle when light is on? Changing out the ocv or cleaning seems to be a good starting point. Not too difficult and not too expensive.

Me too, quite pleased. Your right mate, I've got some 3mm spaces at the ready . I have a pair of standard wheels and sure I've had them on the front at some point with the spacers. I'm still trying to decide if the Rotas on it look ok now it's 'unmodified'
