  1. Same! I just bought some Krown T40 to spray around. What did you do?
  2. Welcome! I wouldn't worry about a 2.0 R Sport with 80k on it if it's got a full complete service history. As Stants says a lot of turbo'd older cars on over 100k. Mine just gone over 100k running 280bhp stock and more in last 4 years . It's all down to regular service. Hope your French shoe box sells soon and you find a good Hawk. Have a good look round the forum and ask away if you need. 👍
  3. Welcome Dean! Sorry, just trying to figure out what you mean. You say it does and doesn't run with maf? Is the engine standard to your knowledge?
  4. I only say because people say the problem gets less after an oil change in some cases.
  5. Both mate. The club show entry is your actual ticket and the display your car just confirms you have a space allocation within SOC area. Cheers
  6. Yeah mine too!! Probably something like a carb cleaner and allow to drain for a bit. Also when was the oil last changed? And did you use a different oil?
  7. Welcome! More than welcome mate go to the following and crack on! Hope to see you there. You have until 2nd April btw
  8. Sounds exactly same as mine. I need to get the code read properly! Generic photo attached. Might as well give it a clean first if you can get to it ok. Can't see mine but light wasn't great in garage. There's one on each bank.
  9. It's funny cause I have a pair same but rougher with winters on. Didn't even need to fit them this year.
  10. @stants @savage bulldogs I couldnt help it after chatting about it! Picking these freshly refurbed champagne ones up from a nice chap next week . They are exactly what I was looking for and 'stumbled' by them earlier. Ill get them on and you can give opinions.
  11. Nice! I need to get replacements for mine.
  12. It's a tricky business as you don't tend to know 100% until you've commited.
  13. A man who plans well ahead!
  14. Does the car rough idle when light is on? Changing out the ocv or cleaning seems to be a good starting point. Not too difficult and not too expensive.
  15. Yeah more likely to stay than go.
  16. Me too, quite pleased. Your right mate, I've got some 3mm spaces at the ready . I have a pair of standard wheels and sure I've had them on the front at some point with the spacers. I'm still trying to decide if the Rotas on it look ok now it's 'unmodified'
  17. Made most of day off and sunshine. Started the process of sealing new paint. Only managed bonnet and front wing though.
  18. Welcome! I bet you are enjoying the upgrade friendly lot on here so have a look around and ask away. Your fairly central so have a look in the car show section if you fancy popping along to anything.
