  1. Not overly happy with the high amounts of advanced weapons but to compete with cod etc suppose it had to be done. That been said the gameplay is !Removed! awesome it's so good to be back to that era from all the stupid futuristic games. Even better back to ww1 which I always wanted a game of. Gotta love an Enfield. lucky_sid91 gamer tag ps4 , only played two hours but that'll change today
  2. Theres 3. search impreza hatchback breaking
  3. Nah down road from me my mate lives there. Strange area though haha
  4. Did a Quick clean, was going to do a full wax and the under seal but ended up taking the car to get battlefield 1 instead...... Hour to update the game... Back to the garage afterall then
  5. There was a couple of cars getting broken and selling all parts on eBay if that's any help
  6. Is it possible to open the box the breather hose goes back to? Want to clean it out if I can and probably the throttle body since I changed plugs not long back I want to keep them clean and not gunk them up. Looking at a wrx cobra cat back just waiting for them to email me back and samco about some hoses. Then I'll remap it. Debating on custom air intake but the foam filters doing a pretty good job as it is. Saw a cool one on YouTube guy removed all the intake and fitted twin cones direct to throttle body. Found loads of catch cans but not a lot for oil air seperation, do you need to tap into the sump or something to send the oil back? thanks for the help
  7. Thanks for replying @Jay762, Is this an issue that needs sorting or just a normal thing? Does it do any harm? Didn't expect I would need oil separator in a NA, strange thing is it's only one hose the rest are clean is this why people use catch cans? Sounds like a remap could be worthwhile afterall
  8. hi its noob time again :D , i was measuring hoses again and found oil in 1 of the breather pipes but nothing in the others. google was useless, have spent hours searching for the name of the damn box the air intake goes into and where the breather hoses go into. which then leads to the throttle body. it has a seem around the top but i have tried everythin to open it aside from a hammer. maybe its not meant to open? wanted to clean out whatever it is and get rid of the oil. also wondering if this is why my spark plugs had a brown oily film on them. little concerned about this wasnt somethin i was expecting to come accross thanks
  9. more last night than today, finally sorted the irritating hesitation between 2-3krpm by cleaning the MAF sensor. its been irritating me since i bought the car but came to the conclusion it was normal, clearly not since it pulls alot better than it ever has with no hesitations or flat spots. its also cleared my mpg issue, was getting 25-28 mpg now up to 33-37 HALLELUJAH!
  10. Hah kinda takes the fun out of the driving. Been wondering why there's so few up here in the club but I see atleast 1 Impreza almost every single day around Durham county
  11. 15min for me on a bad day. Up for pretty much anywhere
  12. Invite some baby scoobs too ;) won't feel like a tadpole in the sea then haha
  13. Link isn't working for me.
  14. Let me know if you find one. I got advised to use panel filter far as I know there isn't a cone for the 1.5 or 2.0 . Looked for ages never ever found one. Think couple other guys had tried too they advised me to panel it. And it has improved airflow. halfords do a universal cone for £20 . K&n do one think it's Apollo which is universal. Problem I found was the kits for Subarus have a completely different intake pipe and mount which won't fit.
  15. Well if mine goes wrong I know who to message repaired annoying armrest/centre console. Got some axle stands on sale at halfords and put some millers Eco petrol additive in. Supposed to be good so will find out . Gotta love the discounts
  16. It's a drop in filter so it'll need to be same size as original
  17. Dimensions of the filter
  18. Eurocarparts says it will. But I have been screwed by them before. The intake looks completely different to me. Someone else could probably shed some light more than I can but if you measure yours I'll check mine no prob
  19. Untill you pull the filter and measure it I would say no. Different setup to the 2.0
  20. @aucky fixed. Removed the lid completely 6 screws to take underside of lid off. 1 screw holds the top of the lid on after that's removed. Left with a metal hinge still attached , if you can remove the back section of the trim between passenger foot wells, I couldn't get it off so had to bend the top back, there's 3 screws holding the hinge in place. All had come a tiny bit loose. Half turn on each jammed it down solid. Rebuilt and now it latches . You can still pull the lid up with a little force but it's just bendy thin plastic but atleast now it doesn't spend all its time bouncing around or popping up.
  21. yeah i did that, when it was hot if i gave it a little tap with my fist it would stay untill i hit a pothole. so i put some force down and it left a good 2-3 inch split down the middle hah think ill strip it down today. fit it with magnets or something
  22. yeah thats gonna be an issue, itll be drinking fuel if its getting abuse, im down to 20mpg and under if i kick it in a bit too often. havent heard a 1.5, think itll be the same size filter as the 2.0? if you can tell me the size of yours ill go and check mine, i use a foam pipercross one. also removed the bottle under the airbox. made it louder but it was slower at high revs so put it back on
  23. i dont think anyone will ever buy an impreza for mpg apart from the diesel maybe, even in a NA 2.0 the petrol makes my wallet cry, but for me it was the AWD and i always wanted a subaru even if it is a baby for now, could have gone for something else with the same power and alot cheaper fuel easily but i imagine we all have our reasons for getting one. but it feels solid, so far completely reliable and the engine grumbles along nicely no matter what i do to it. never once lost any grip either. wouldnt even consider changing. out of the 2 options i would go wrx without hesitation. hopefully i will be moving onto a wrx or sti in the future, soon as possible. never seen someone look unhappy driving one. just my opinion :)
  24. Hitty missy with me but if there's a date I'll do my best to get out
  25. thanks that is something i would do. i already cracked my centre console trying to make it latch shut. has never shut properly since i got it. doesnt take pressure well
