  1. Where is Steve based?
  2. Is there any flags or banners for the club? Would look good around the club stand.
  3. Some tasty mods on your car :)
  4. Doing a bit of googling I found a thread on Scoobynet for your area. http://www.subaru4you.co.uk in Newbury is pretty popular, I'd forgotten about Len at Subaru4you. I used Len years ago on my classic for a clutch replacement and lightened flywheel fitting. Very good service although if you are waiting around there's bugger all to do in town. http://www.enginetuner.co.uk/home.htm Alan Jeffery in Portsmouth seems to get a few votes as well. Not heard of him before myself though. If you don't mind the drive then Surrey Subaru Specialists in Camberly Surrey are worth the trip. They have done a few jobs on my old car and also a lot of the Surrey Scoobies members use them. http://www.surreysubaruspecialists.com/contact-us/
  5. It will be the 2nd Sunday of the month, so it will be May 11th all the same details as above. Hope to see you there.
  6. Looks good, bit too loud for me though. Enjoy the ownership. Bear in mind with those mods you will also need a remap.
  7. Have you contracted Prodrive about the cars history/rarity?
  8. Disaster! Had the n/s reverse light done, bit of a pig as there was no where near as much bleed as in the vid. Had the larger one all lined up, had it stuck in place and was working my wat around the side had a fair bit up to the 1st bump done and then rrrrriiiipppppp. Was pulling the top edge, must have used a bit too much heat :( So I have had to take the good one off which of course ripped aswell. Such a fine line between doing it right and mucking it up. Tbh I think this is really a job for the pro's. Salsa if you have a spare set of n/s pass overlays maybe we could do a deal?
  9. I would replace tbh it's cheaper than an engine rebuild.
  10. Totally changes the rear of the car, for the better. Not looking forward to doing mine though :(
  11. Don't know anyone over that way. What's the issue? When I did mine, I just had a new belt, but you have to replace the tensioner and pullies with a new ones as using the old ones made the belt half a tooth out.
  12. Glad it's all sorted, cheap easy fixes are always the best :)
  13. Good luck with the search. Obviously autotrader aswell but IMHO PH is better.
  14. Check the condition of the connections on the maf and it's plug, might have some crud causing the issue. Also try doing an ECU reset.
  15. Try Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=used-cars&M=911&M=572&M=910&YearFrom=2008&isExperiment=True
  16. What time did you start? 6am :) Think I'm going to have to leave mine till the weekend.
  17. I've posted the wrong workshop manual it's for the 2008. Gambit do have a link for the 2005?
  18. With the good weather it was a great turn out this month. Thanks to Banstead Stig for the pics.
  19. Congrats on the purchase can't see any pics? The factory speakers are rubbish. Don't know of any direct fit but there's bound to be adapters and such to fit after market speakers. Haven't bothered with it myself at present. Prob worth getting the service dome so you start with the car in the best possible shape. This thread has info on I drive and the DCCD. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/4392-i-drive-dccd-explained/ This thread has link to the workshop manuals. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/5457-2008-impreza-wrx-and-sti-workshop-manual/
  20. Does Ash want a set? £10.52 all in.
