  1. I had the heat shield around the front manifold go. Gave it to a mate who welded it back together for me. If it's really bad you can get them from most breakers.
  2. Looks like a Police armed response car with the blacked out windows :) welcome along.
  3. I reckon you should paint the horn grills to match the body work :)
  4. Your welcome to pop along to the surrey meet on Sunday @ the Fairmile Cobham from 1pm.
  5. Wind defielctors will have 2 metal tabs holding them into the door frame and some dble sided tape at the edges. Just give them a pull from the middle and they should pop out.
  6. piut the back seats down so I could get me new Bike in the back. Scoob will spend some time on the drive, need to get fit so cycling to work. Also will give me a chance t take the wing mirrors off and send them for Dipping.
  7. The drain on the system in negligible when off. When it's switched on it draws the power from the engine. When the car is idling switch it on watch your revs, they will increase to compensate for the extra load the air on adds.
  8. I had a classic that had P1 splitter, Sti spoiler, 22b bonnet vents and I de badged the whole car apart from the front grill. As gambit said it's your motor so go with what ever floats your boat. Personally I don't like cars that have the Sti/Gti/turbo/RS badges when they aren't.
  9. Bought the DashCmd app as its compatible with my Pioneer head unit. So I can get it on the screen rather than looking at the phone, and all the functions work on the touch screen :) only downside is I cant connect with my new Iphone 5 as i have to by a new adapter :(

  11. Nice one, I need to get a new iPhone connection kit for my head unit first. I've just got an iphone 5 and that's not compatible with my head unit typical of both Pioneer not to future proof stuff and apple to change connections. Can't just connect to it via the USB like you could with the 4.
  12. I do park quite far away from the kerb these days, with the classic there was the odd occasion where parking spaces were tight and it took a fair bit of monauevering to get in a space 12 inches bigger than car. That's the problem living where I do parking is a real nightmare sometimes. Had a look at the website for yours and I may look at an ebay alternative as funds are a bit tight at the mo.
  13. Do you find that you have to be careful parking? I haven't fitted any to the hatch as I kept ripping my rear bumper off the classic when the flaps got trapped between tyre and kerb.
  14. LogWorks. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/logworks/id351896392?mt=8 There's no setting or anything in log works and it just won't connect even tried to connect manually and that still didn't work. It works fine with car doctor and I have downloaded a load of the free OBD2 apps to try out.
  15. just search OBD2 in your app store.
  16. got mine plugged it in connect via wifi to phone, my app doesnt pick it up though :( Car Doctor is one of the apps you can use to connect to the OBD reader there are loads of apps about.
  17. Got mine aswell. the iphone will connect to the reader but the app says nothings connected :(
  18. Great Thats my next Bilking Plate Sorted :p welcome to the Club as Gambit said we all like an oogle at some pics :)
  19. Welcome along, any Pics/Spec ect always welcome :)
  20. Shop wise if you called them pretty sure they could advise on bits that would fit, induction kits, exhaust back boxes, wheels, strut braces, suspension parts etc would more than likey be the same as a WRX. http://www.just-subaru.com http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk http://asperformance.com
  21. Looks great would look even better with SOC show plates ;)
  22. Don't think many AWD road cars can do this! Chelsea tractors not included.
  23. The pump creates a resistance and in turn adds load on the engine via the belt. Any load on the engine will sap power & increases fuel consumption as the engine has to work harder to perform to the same level. I've read anything from 3bhp to 14bhp (old Jag) depending on age and type of car.
  24. Still waiting on delivery of my reader, wish amazon would be clearer when the seller isn't in the UK.
  25. Welcome along. If you not too far from the Kingston/hampton court area you could pop down to the Surrey Scoobies meet Sunday. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/8002-surrey-scoobies-monthly-meet-13th-july-2014/ I can't make it but they are a nice bunch of fellow enthusiasts always happy to welcome fellow Scoobies owners.
