Good here your back on your feet and welcome back :)- New 2015 Subaru Wrx Sti - getting in May/June!
Sounds like they have added a dealer premium to the Sat Nav. Main difference between the 860 and 960 is can bus compatibility http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/111/241/compare.html?__P2=68323&__P3=68343 If you do want to go your own way re the sat nav. I have a Pioneer ND BC6 universal fit reversing cam to sell £50 + pnp. I only used for about 8 months then upgraded to one with a parking grid which is now included in the new head unit software. I also have a complete I-phone 4 connection kit that will fit the 960 as I upgraded the phone to a 5s.- hatch sti seats ?

You have to be careful of the small print with High street companies they may say they will cover this and that and then claim no knowledge of it when/if its time to claim. I've been using Keith Micheals for the past 12 years with no issues what soever, they Insure a lot of my local clubs scoobs and are happy to work with you regards mods. Only bad thing about them is that they are quite busy and don't always return calls :( http://www.keithmichaels.co.uk/- Hello! (from a hopfully prospective Subaru Forester STi owner)
Welcome to the club, there are a few threads with buying guides and plenty of Fozzie owners to give good advice on here :)- My JapFest pix

Just make sure the cam belt has been changed recently and give it a good test drive.- Newbie from suffolk
Looks good, green scoobs seem to be one of the rarest colours. Loads of green foresters and outbacks must be something to do with farmers :)- Newbie From Kent
Most jobs are doable on the drive way. Don't really need any special tools, a good jack, axle stands (best to have four axle stands). I've swapped exhausts, suspension, discs, callipers and even had the engine out on the drive way. Biggest job is prob replacing clutch and would say get a pro to do it, as it is a massive job to do, have to remove a fair few bits from the engine bay along with prop shaft, drive shafts and gearbox. They are not any harder to work on than "normal" cars. It's just that the engine bay is pretty cramped so access is the biggest issue.- Newbie from suffolk
