Welcome along, the air con cap you should be able to get from any scrap yard as it's a standard part for air con. It's a pale blue colour off the top.

STI To Attempt New TT Lap Record Again
The car is being prepped by the rally team in America. They are also doing all the development of the new car for the rallies there, no more Prodrive involvement, not aware of anyone this side of the pond doing development on the new car.

STI To Attempt New TT Lap Record Again
As good news as this is, it's a shame it's all Subaru America putting this on. Subaru UK don't seem to give a toss about the new car.

Just treated myself and the car to some Poorboys Black Hole Glaze, Nattys Blue Car Wax. http://www.perfectlycleaned.co.uk/poorboys-black-hole-glaze-nattys-blue-car-wax--2-x-pads--microfibre-cloths-1130-p.asp Bit silly as I just spent £30 on some G3 professional wax last weekend :D

Impreza WRX 230 bhp
Depending on your journey. Town driving without booting it all the time I can get about 21mpg, motorway that goes up to 26mpg I think been a while since I did a long motorway journey. A full tank for me is about £75. That will last me just over 230 miles town driving. Seeing as kne is an STI I can't see you having a prob with 200. Miles for £50. Just keep a jerry can handy :)

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Washed, polished, protected and waxed. Started at 10 finished about 6. Started of sorting a few scratches out with G3 scratch remover. Bilt Hamber snow foam, Autoglym shampoo & Bilt Hamber auto wheel cleaner. Can't beat a good Chamois leather. Autoglym polish Autoglym super gloss protector G3 wax. Spent half much of each stage making sure I'd got all the polish and wax out of the shut lines and where the bumpers meet the body. Just aswell I've got about 15 microfibre clothes :). My back is killing me!!

Steering issue
Get wheels of the grounD give them a good tug, shake and wobble. Any play will be down to worn bushes.
-
Steering issue
Ah I reckon it's warped discs then, if you haven't replaced them.
-
Steering issue
To me that normally indicates wheels out of balance, but as you've had them balanced the next thing I would check would be all the bushes for wear and tear.

Susan the Scooby STI 330s
Surely the dealer who took the car in for sale did an HPI check? We used to check all 2nd hand cars when I worked for a rover dealership back in the day.

There's is nothing wrong with the central locking. The key and opening doors is a nightmare. In their infinite wisdom Subaru decided to make the central locking a two stage process. You have to press the button a 2nd time as soon as the indicator has stopped it's flash. There's is a knack to it, if you are too early ie when the indicator is still on, it will lock itself again. If you are too late with the 2nd press after the indicator has gone off it will lock itself again. After 14 months of ownership I still haven't mastered it. You can't reprogram it either, I contacted Subaru when I 1st got the car. As I thought it was faulty aswell.

It worth it, however you'll need an ECU remap and friendly mot tester. I get a bit of grief for gold wheels on a black car
