  1. 1st wash & polish. 😎 In the last 4 weeks I've also... 15mm Hubcentric Spacers all round. Scoobyworld mudflaps. 245/45 Crossclimates. Rear LED light clusters. New interior mats.
  2. Taxed her: £540... 😥 Insured me & the Mrs: £282... 😁
  3. Great grip in the snow over winter, in the wet and dry I can't tell any difference from my Dunlop Sport Maxx XL's. Possibly a little softer ride, but that could be the effect of going up a size in tyres. Fills the wheel arch nicely now. 😁 Wearing pretty good too. 👍
  4. Picked her up after having her wheels stripped, refurbished and powdercoated satin black. Before: After: Well pleased. 😁
  5. I've had 15mm Direnza hubcentric wheel spacers on for around 12 months now, haven't had any problems or felt any significant change in handling. My service and mot are due early Sept, I'll let you know if there's any issues or wear problems. She's been treated pretty roughly too! 😋
  6. Technically not done today, but booked some stuff... Couldn't find wheels I liked more than stock, so I'm having mine refurbished and powdercoated matte black. 26th/27th July. Then the following Fri I'm having her tinted, B pillar back. 3rd Aug. I'll take before and after pics and post. 😎
  7. Welcome. 😁 Nice Scooby there, they're a beast to drive aren't they?
  8. Looking good, seems the slowly does it approach is working. 👍
  9. Will be interested to see the results. Before and after pics, please. 😁
  10. Hmmm, wasn't aware of that, interesting. 🤔

  12. And you didn't, why? Just out of curiosity, I've been looking at the 2.0 Levorg sti, but they're still fetching around £23k in Japan, without import charges, and I'm not sure my better half wouldn't kill me if that turned up outside. 🤔
  13. Ditto! Looking forwards to seeing her home. 🖒
  14. Hi guys/galls, Looking to change my wheels quite soon but I'm having trouble choosing! 🤔 As she looks now. I'm gonna load some pics (numbered but not named) and I haven't yet chosen a make, so they're a guide only for now, I'd appreciate your feedback and comments. On my last Scooby, '09 WRX Hatch I went for the Wolfrace Asia-Tec in gunmetal. (#1) and they looked awesome. 😁 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, So far I'm leaning towards 4 & 1, love the jdm look. Thanks for looking! 👍
  15. You'll fit right in here then! 😁 Nice looking motor.
  16. Yup, still reading. 😁 And looking good, I really hate arch gaps!
  17. Took her over the 20k mark. 😁 Convinced the wife that a remap is totally necessary, otherwise the panel filter and exhaust were a waste of time... Contacted Andy Forrest about a remap. 😈
  18. Hi @Sevi and welcome. I own a '14 sti and although the Scooby's a little short on the ponies produced by the cars you've mentioned, it's still the only true, uncompromising rally car on the road, and handles like it! If you're gonna go down the serious mod route, there's peeps on here a hell of a lot more clued up than I am. If you're looking for simple easy gains then a couple of small changes and a map will do. Panel filter: Pipercross Pro R (other brands are available 😊) Exhaust: 3" Stainless Cat Back (unbranded) At the mo I'm trying to get mine booked in with Andy Forrest for a remap (with licence), he's told me I'm looking at 330-340 with better low end torque, that's not massive but a good enough increase for the moderate outlay. Good luck with whatever you do.
  19. 😂🤣 Really? Don't you know, 'Loud pipes save lives'
  20. Nice. 😁 I'll try to get some when I've got it set perfectly, seems a little off centre at the mo... 🤔
  21. Ok, it's quieter... kind of. 🤔 And that was the plan. It's an uber deep rumble instead of a roar, when I stood behind it at the garage I could actually feel it. 😂 Sometime tomorrow I'm gonna have to introduce it to my wife... and on Monday to the neighbours.
  22. Ok, if I've got this right, this is how it works. There are either 2 or 3 tpms settings, depending on age and model, I think we've just Iot the first 2. 1, Ordinary 2, Loaded (with passengers) 3, Towing Press the tpms button till it cycles to what you want, and hold for approx 3 seconds, that'll set it for that loading. You can set it to monitor your pressure depending on who or what's in the car. 😁
  23. 😂🤣😂 Think I may have conned myself!? Refilled the tire, and cuz someone was waiting I drove round the corner and stopped, pressed the tpms button, got what you have, tpms1, and kept my finger on it. Fairly sure the display told me it had reset... amd the light went off. Now you've got me wondering if it was just well timed? Gonna have to Google now. Post if you find anything, I will.
  24. I've just had my TPMS light come on, Tuesday, refilled (4 psi down, left rear) and reset the sensors using the reset button. Right side by the traction button. Currently running Michelin Crossclimate all round, different size to stock (235/45) and set at 33 front/30 rear, and I'm not having any problems. Glad you're sorted now. 😁
