  1. Depends where people are coming from/willing to get to probably a pub somewhere as would be easiest. Which area of lancs are you from chap ?
  2. Sorry I should have made it clear that's the front n/s in the pic
  3. Also been told the newage 4pots with the 'subaru stickers' on will clear my rims by a couple of mm. But not found anyone with these to take a measurement from, There is however a newage wagon that's been rolled sat in a lock up near me but I've not found out who the owner is
  4. Well not sure I've got solid ones on at the mo but when I look.up parts it also brings up vented, I've not slid the caliper up yet but if the same as the leggy it's a pair of pistons on a mono block ? Does that sound right ?
  5. Has anyone got a pic of a classic caliper ? Want to reference them against mine, Been told they are slightly different to wrx units and they are the same as the legacy of the same year
  6. Seeing as last year's died on it's !Removed!, and there are a few more people from leeds and the surrounding area joining up, does anyone fancy testing the waters out for another try ?
  7. Yes ! We need more of these over here, saw the jet car at pod which was mental but 4 together would be silly
  8. Cheers dave, it's an enforced change so I didn't want to spend anything this month. But I didn't see the point of putting an old crappy tyre on a new rim & the tyres would have only lasted another couple of months. Stop it sav you're incredibly good at getting me to part with my cash, soon enough you'll have shares in my car [emoji16] The ofsets all wrong most annoyed at the fact that every other model has 55mm it would have fouled the rear struts I wanted to keep the stock look as much as possible, q car ish, just new lines pads & front discs then it's finished for a while
  9. I can but she'll kill me, 100 for those and 400 for tyres may be pushing it a bit. Yeah I got them off that seller you came across a while back,
  10. The rota's are the mutts nuts though, don't think I've seen a pair that I didn't like
  11. Got home and opened the boxes waiting for me, I wish I'd bought 4 now as the difference between old and new is unreal
  12. I'm guessing that if you just slide the radio out and take it to a motor factors, the should be able to look at both ends and tell you which one you need, not sure if you have a wilko motorsave near you but the adaptors cost about a fiver, probably a bit more from halfords
  13. Just get the rota's re done or is your plan to have two sets anyway ?
  14. Hi mate, what stereo do you have ? Is the ariel lead one with a black circle attached with a 90° bend or straight phono type? You may need a male to female adaptor
  15. Haha my hobbit feet give the game away although there's a cinema in town with sofas and beer on draught that sounds like somewhere I could spend time in
  16. Haha. Went to lotr opening night, loads of geeks dressed as wizards and elves, Good idea mate however me and cinemas don't really mix must go about once every 10 years
  17. Rims arrived tyres ordered fitting tomorrow, full geo to be booked in for the 13th hopefully
  18. Can safely say we'll all be struck off sav's Christmas card list at this rate [emoji33]
  19. Still prefer it with the dragon on [emoji12]
  20. Mine hasn't but it's 17 and I guess it could have gone missing however it shows no signs of anything been in there in the past,is your triangle in the one along the back ? I don't have one. Www.cars101.com list all the usdm specs for for ours so may be worth seeing if they have stuff in for the us market and hazard a guess if we ever got them
  21. If it's the same layout as the rest of the subaru engines then yes, have you spied it between the alternator and belts just sat on top of the block at 90° Your supposed to be able to get your hands in to release it but you must have tiny hands, I find taking the two ten mill bolts out of the belt cover and rotating it upon the alternator bolt gives more room but pliers & a screwdriver come in handy for me to hold the clip down then wiggle off
  22. Sounds like the previous owners have cherished it of it's only done that milage, seems a bit steep price wise but I guess the low miles reflects this,
