  1. No mate, been driving for a good hour and a half in stop start traffic, couple of things sprang to mind, A, it was just really hot, water was close to 100° on and off,oil was mid 90's as she'd been sat in traffic crawling for about 30 mins, it was only after i'd gone about half mile up road when temps began to come down, that it triggered, B, I read that some people had had an issue after washing with water entering scoop and causing a fault, 1st time i've ever seen it, Never get it from cold start, it felt like the waste gate was stuck open as it didn't cut so to speak, just nothing and then it all came back up. C, she just doesn't like outdoor life after being garaged for 3 years not used to the cold and throwing a wobbler or the sensor housing is damaged, Anyway reset last night, drove to work fine plugged into evoscan when o got her when for a drive, knock values were the same as any other logging session

  4. Driving home 40mph in 4th, accelerated slightly slight bog down in power then it flashes up cel#22 knock sensor, so reset and been for a blast, have to see what's what and keep an eye on things

  7. Hello & welcome, What offset & pcd are they ? May the sale help listing them. Look like a cracking set of rims glws
  8. @tomobwfc that is a complete set though , there's strong flex which members on here have used, and you could prob buy oem subaru bushes for around half that for a full set,
  9. Or these, http://importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info.asp?id=10981 they are on my list at some point in future, had all polly on mazda bit crashy when you weren't working them.
  10. Can't keep up with the different variations !
  11. I know of someone who has a classic one on the foz and he's loosing power as the air is escaping round the edges, if I was to get one I'll have to take the rubber skirt off mine and add to the undertray. There's a couple on the bay at the moment for yours Geoff [emoji38]
  12. Yep seen plenty of classic ones &leggy ones but the foz seem to be like rocking horse !Removed!. The classic one does fit but doesn't sir flush with the i/c due to the voz being slightly lower than the classic, so it would need adapting to make it airtight,
  13. Anyone got one of these installed ? If so how effective are they
  14. Hi,could just be a lot of condensation collected in the back section of the exhaust, due to the silly weather we've been having, I would however get a compression or leak down test just to rule out hg issues, I always let mine warm up a before driving but have recently moved house and she now lives outside, the other day I was driving half way up the road when it started chucking out a load of white smoke, found it a bit odd but it goes away as soon as it starts
  15. One nice day and everyone goes crazy ! Started to knock up a bracket for my catch can, one benefit of visiting the folks is unlimited access to the 40+ years of man cave clutter, poking around I found a perfect sized & shaped bracket with a hole that needed opening up ever so slightly, shame my hoses are at work. @savagebulldogs did you ever get round to fitting the outrigger bushes ?
  16. Could be like the lambda fault, mine used to flash up once and go but the code was stored until I changed the sensor, did the garage tell you the number of the code ?
  17. Sounds like piston slap to me, wouldn't worry about it too much just don't be heavy with the right foot until she's up to temp
  18. Hello, Open the bonnet and on the suspension tower you'll find the cars vin plate on there will be the paint code, as fir getting paint are you after a touch up or enough for a respray ?
  19. When he says air temp which sensor was it ? Maybe worth getting a cheap odb reader from eBay and an app for your phone so you can see the info in real time and log the fault code, could just be a dodgy sensor
  20. Excellent cheers chaps I'll have a go when the weather's warmer I've a load of dead leaves in mine
  21. The battery is inside the siren, How did you get your cowl off ? Need to clean the rubbish out of mine
  22. Ah thought it went on the rollers with engine tuner, I'm thinking the same with not holding memory must be battery/charge related
  23. They would have heard or seen any potential damage or major knock when on the dyno the other month, What alarm have you go installed ?
