Induction kit
No worries mate, its popular opinion that to gain anything from an induction kit you really need it mapped for it. Even so seen plenty sti’s with 350hp on standard air box with a good filter its a good design from factory.

It will be the stock springs have been swapped out for prodrive ones. Not sure how they will differ but probably slightly lower and help with body roll similar to any lowering spring kit like eibach ect..

Do you agree?
Yeah I agree there that all the gimmicks cars come with now are un necessary but in fairness ive not really been in a new car since like 2010 lol. I dont have any desire for new anyway tried and tested has always worked for me. It is good to see so many older subarus still running I guess that means they were doing something right back then. Suppose only time will tell with there newer models. Id say your on the button with the younger generation of drivers well most of them anyway. They only see cars are taxis basically which is fine just leaves all the older more interesting stuff to the people who really love driving.

You should definitely get into the 300bhp region with this path man then you can decide from there whether you want a bigger turbo or what not. Consider an uprated fuel pump aswell. There are folk that say when you want to go past this stage you should look into building the motor with a 2.5 but someone with better knowledge on this era of impreza may be able to help you with that info ive only ever dealt with the 2.0L

Hi mate hope your enjoying your new subaru. Has it been modified at all yet? A remap and a panel filter is a great start with these cars, maybe a cat back if budget allows, all up to you really and what your willing to spend. Plenty knowledge on here though so ask away and let us see your car we love subarus here 🤣

Rough idle and vibration
The pcv valves are cheap for my car they are a little over a tenner from ICP probably the same for you. Ive been looking up pcv failure symptoms and it sounds to me that could be your issue. I am NOT a mechanic though so pinch of salt and all that. Good luck mate I have a bit of vibration at idle aswell I thought it could be my crank pulley giving up on life but I too have found oil seapage around the pcv valve on the breather hoses. So im just going to replace mine and the the hose set and see its ancient on mine anyway. Taking it off and cleaning it is also an option though

Oh yeah mate looks the business 👍

Rough idle and vibration
Could it possibly be PCV valve? Or the vibration might be a crank pulley going bad
