  1. i went to look at the tyres up for sale and was denied access. i then noticed 10 topics yet i go there and get just this one.
  2. admin help needed if you see this I can't :D :D
  3. I once seen a rally Scooby with something like this on, not this one before someone tell me lol and I don't know how it was done but sounded nice and different. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/71510-ideas-on-swaping-a-weber-carb-on-ea82%C2%B4s/ was nice and quick and no turbo. bet the turbo is a easier and cheaper fix though ;) .
  4. i hav a turbo 2000 and i would say no you can't fit one in there but i would say keep the space saver in for weight reduction. i put tool kit's and jump lead and hi vis clothing and a mat in mine but i lowered mine and put a impreza space saver in there. just try it, jack car up and put the space saver under car as those jack are crap. then put the wheel you take off in it and you should be able to tell. if you lived round Lancashire you could of tried one of my set i took off.
  5. I put 32 all round on classic with 18 but I think front and rears do hav a different pressure to be right.
  6. I hav a 6 tonne press yet this did not get it out. as there is no where you can get a grip thanks for the help. that way just ripped the rubber out when I gave up on the press.

when I was looking for a small car I would of taken this I was after a small car with 4+4 and the justy is ideal.
  8. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/ElectricalSystem don't know if this helps.
  9. well I did it with the powerflex. what a **** to get the bush out ended burning them out. the others went in easy and will be a easy fix next time.
  10. my mate did it I will try and get them soon.
  11. the question is how load do you want to go. there are a few vids on utube that you can hav a look at what people put up. there are different sizes and sounds. I liked my magnex on my wrx. but my mate that has a wagon now hated it said it was to quiet he has a much louder one on and has a bung in for mornings so neighbours are happy. at the mo I hav 3" straight middle from car and gives a nice rally sound but not to loud. I would look at air filter before map if not already got one in. I would also put a carbon rear boot if despoiling much easier than painting it to car colour. then carbon bonnet. but big budget for that.
  12. this might not sort the problem hav you took the air filter out. that could be one problem. I hav also heard a thing that cleans the car air system aircon and interior by putting it in car when car is running with aircon on and fogs with all doors closed and car running for a few min. I am looking for one at mo as mine smell like a ash tray ;)
  13. you can yet the code from the net... I put bleeps on mine so when car is not in view I can tell if alarm in on or off.
  14. I did go to my Subaru specialist and they did giv me this bush and also one other but I have heard bad thing but wanted to way it up before part comes but as it's here tomoz I will let you lot know. Just to carry on, anyone heard of lock down kit seem to be big in Oz and whiteline do them.
  15. :D :D :D :D love how threads get side tracked but what about my bush :P
  16. if all that fails on gambit's post I would try the lambda. think you will find it's a maf problem had that on a impreza once then just stopped all together.
  17. the ones with the white wheels are now before it's been washed and the little one was from the add when I bought it I forgot to take pics before working on it and it stayed like that for just two days before i changing it.
  18. if I was doing this I would change to a sti or wrx being a ex sport owner I can tell you its not just a engine change. they are different under the back as well and brake system is different.
  19. I re gasses mine on a 99 sport you can buy cans of gas and diy.
  20. hi all did not know where to put this one as it is a question about a part that fits impreza and forester, but I also think it fits legacy. I am looking to change my sub frame bush to a POWERFLEX REAR BEAM MOUNT Ref: PFR69-118. First, has anyone on here done this. Second, does the noise from the sub frame increase a lot and how the hell did you get the bush out of your sub frame. Third, there are others on the market and I am looking for a easy fix. these come in two parts and look fairly easy to put in but are they or is it easier to put a solid one in. any help much appreciated thanks james.
  21. hi mate I had the same problem I had a small pipe back box so I swapped my impreza stainless on to forester and it is about 5 inch to small...... I know story of my life . so just be careful that the length is ok for forester as now it's a MOT fail. I forgot to say that I used the cat back off impreza so back box may be ok but just check ;)
  22. also forgot to say putting the smaller alloys on 17" it messed my speedo up now runs 10mph less so when doing 30 on speedo I am doing something like 26-28 so no speeding tickets unless I go over speed limit by a lot :D
  23. I hav just put my impreza 99 sport strut and spring on my 2000 forester. and oh yes it does lower it. mine ok but people on forester forums in Oz and America all complain about **** sag running lines. I am happy with mine its the strut tops that are diff that's all.
  24. welcome back. :D
  25. hi nice forester. like the vr6 noice but scooby is best ;)
