Yeah - if you go to the boro, let me know what it's like - they have an auto blob-eye wrx just landed there too.... If the rest of their auto boxes are the same as mine they are magnificent - so smooth and responsive to you burying you foot I'd love a cross-sports turbo Foz - would want a facelifted version though - none of those currently in the country for sale, but 2 on their way - one in the south-west, one in the south-east

I think when I'm in a position to act rather than just lust after, I will do that mate - probably after seeing what is already in the country and for sale at the time. If the 2.0l cross sports turbo is indeed 250bhp as I've seen claimed / mentioned elsewhere, I'm pretty sure that would be enough - it would still have mapping potential too I assume

There is still part of me that wonders if the cross-sports might be the car for me - all comes down to how it feels power-wise compared to an STi. I do love the Subaru auto boxes (as does the mrs) so it clearly has that advantage, while still looking STi-esque - will it satisfy my lingering turbo-desire though? Need to see and drive one really, but that's probably going to mean quite a travel unless the Middlesbrough place gets a facelifted cross-sports auto in again

I bought a clay cloth last year... only used it once but found it very easy to use! I tried a clay mitt...was alright actually and much quicker than using a clay bar

Haha I know the feeling. They are both lovely. More and more as time goes on I keep coming back to a Foz STi......it might just be that in a few years time I see what's already in the country and for sale - like you say it's so much easier if it's already here When I was looking for my winter alloy set, I had this in mind to be able to keep and use them long term

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
I was hoping to avoid jacking the front or back end up as one - I'd read about those two points, but just wanted to do one quarter at a time. That's how I've seen my tyre fitter do it before so just assumed that was the way to go (one corner at a time)? He must be using something safe to do this I assume, but what do I know If you jack the whole front or whole back up, do you need stands as well or will it be safe with just the jack having 2 wheels off the ground?

LOL I'd love to have either, although the Foz STI remains my ultimate dream machine

Great stuff - how does he find it, power-wise etc? - I lusted after it for weeks online. Still only ever seen one for sale in Japan in that colour - looks awesome

Did anyone speak with the owner of that light blue Forester cross-sports? - or are they even a member on here? - was it an auto and had they bought it in the last 6 months? I was looking at this on autotrader at the time with envy if it's the same one

Can anyone advise me where the trolley jacking points are for my 2005 Outback - I know roughly from watching my mobile tyre fitter guy previously, but if anyone has pictures or can advise of the exact location I'd be grateful. I just want to be able to jack it up safely to change one wheel at a time, so the appropriate point at each corner is the info I'm after please? If no pics or diagrams available, then a description that a dummy novice like me could understand would be great :) Thanks folks

New winter alloys are here...better condition than my current ones lol Matching pirellis on with 3.5, 4, 4 and 8mm tread. I know ideally you wouldn't, but where is the best place to mount the 8mm new tyre? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trolley jack and torque wrench ordered today ready for my spare alloy wheel set which is due to arrive later today [emoji2] Tyres apparently have plenty of life in them and are matching, so going to use straight away before binning them for winters later this year...will help to save my falkens [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
