  1. ah ok, Will have to keep my eye out, see if i can find a seller on ebay that's breaking a mk4 legacy saloon with leather seats.
  2. ooohhh exciting... Erm, during the meetup before the show if there are other clubs nearby, would it be a good idea to pop out a few SOC signs in front of the cars? I can Imagine myself parking up next to the wrong club or something.
  3. Hi, Does anyone else have this issue? Since having the scoob (mid-late FEB) I've been collecting points, had well over 2000k. Vouchers are supposed to be sent every quarter along with a quarterly statement. Shell are flipping useless and aint sent any vouchers whatsoever. Despite telling me a few months back that they are sending them out in June. But no, no vouchers arrived (they removed a load of my points though). So I've been on to them again, apparently they did send them in June. Yet nothing has come and they have said it will take them 28 days to investigate and decide whether or not they are going to reissue the vouchers. Shell, that is not how you look after your customers. Especially ones that are happy to buy a full tank of your premium fuel on a regular basis. Jesus christ, Rant over.
  4. Yeah I will bud, It will be a good few months though, a bit short on cash lol.
  5. Cheers for the reply tlag, ive only just seen it. When you say it might be a problem, do you think it wont be possible?
  6. David was your quote from a place in middlesbrough? Tony banks in leeds does longlife exhausts, but he did my mates exhaust on his old 207 gti it ended up far too loud and the fitter left some nuts and bolts loose in the engine bay, which ended up destroying his whole radiator. So avoid him lol. Thanks for the reply jay, would i see much difference between the standard cat abd a sports cat? One reason i fancy a new cat is because the cars done 91k and if i went for a cat back system im in a sense only replacing half the exhaust.
  7. Id like to do somthing like this too. Looks pretty awseom though, im not half bad with electrics do shouldnt be too dificult once funds allow ofc.
  8. So, in the future i'm planning to get a new exhaust, want something that gives the car a bit of sporty sound and maybe a burble if possible. But nothing over the top noisy. As Saloon Legacies are relatively rare, I can't find parts online and if i could i'd expect they'd have to be imported and probably cost the earth. So i looked at getting a custom one made. I looked a powerflow and decided that i'd avoid them due to negative reviews. But Found a place nearby that does "longlife" exhausts. Anyone have any experience of this? i emailed him for some quotes. For a twin exit cat back system he offered £560 but reduced to £504 For a twin exit and sports cat system he offered £995 but offered it for £895! For a twin exit with a decat system he offered £785 but reduced to 735. - also said "Its a decat which can be removed for MOT purposes." On one hand I'd like a decat, but i can imagine it being a chew at MOT time and in case i got pulled over and was emission tested by the feds/VOSA. So I'm not sure about the decat. Any advice would be appreciated. tom
  9. Looking good gem :) I like the pink, it looks good with other pink bits on the car :)
  10. Well its likely i wont be camping anymore. My mate pulled out a few days ago, so i'll probably just be coming down for the day :( Can't exactly go camping on my own, lol be a bit lonely haha
  11. Looking good mate :)
  12. Went on a long run home today, (debyshire bk up to the north east) averaged 40.1mpg with cruise at 70mph. :)
  13. Martin n dave at sheffield subaru fitted me some new bushes, discs, pads and braided hel hoses yesterday. Excellent service! My brakes are fantastic now, so responsive.
  14. lol, why cant you park a clayed car near trees? I may or may not have done this.... haha
  15. Cant suggest any garages around your way mate, but martin n dave from sheffield subaru service are top blokes.
  16. hahaha, not camping now... but will be camping for japfest. That's my parents drive they live in a cottage next to a farm, lovely place! And mum makes lovely beef dinners and chocolate cake :D
  17. I'm exhausted, spent the day detailing the car. Washed and dried, clayed, cleaned up the left over tar with tar remover, polished and buffed off, gloss protection and buffed off, wax on and wax off, cleaned windows and finished off with some tyre dressing. Will edit in some pics :) sorry these phone pics are the best i took :(
  18. booked in with martin to get some bushes, pagid discs, pads replaced and some hel braided brake lines. :) Spent the last few days waiting for an overcast day so i can wash, clay, polish then wax the scooby. The last few days it was far too sunny and today its been !Removed! it down all day.
  19. Yea tht looks awesome mate.
  20. Ordered my new braided hel brake lines today! Also bought an autoglym clay bar kit. Excited love buying car stuff.

  22. Just got back from Spain. Lovely place and the women are simply stunning! So many slim tanned brunettes and blondes! Shame about the British tourists that see the country as a giant **** up and ruined the place.
  23. Still in benidorm, will get some pics up a few days after i get back. Found out i've got a job interview the day after i return, so as soon as we land and get bk to my folks i've gotta jump in the scoob n drive 130miles bk up north n try to prepare for it. Lol fun fun
  24. Having met martin hes a proper top bloke, so id imagine he'd have a quick look.
  25. If i remember correctly its something to with the salt/grit getying through a small gap under the car and possibly corroding some of the brake lines. I think they just clean off the corrosion and apply some protective fluid.
