Test fitting Legacy MESH Grille
Hi, I'm so sorry, i didnt even see these replies. I haven't got the new grille in yet, as its still getting painted - with a family member so he's doing it as a favour when hes gets round to it. But yea sure, you can borrow the old one once the new one is in. Sure we can sort something out. I bought it off a guy who had a 3ltr spec b legacy estate and it didnt fit his... but it does fit the 2ltr legacies. When i fit it, i'll take a few pictures of the fittings and compare them to yours, see if tht sheds any light on it.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Went to the metro centre this afternoon. On the way back along the A1231 had some knobbers behind me in a bright orange fiat punto trying to race me. lol, was like 5 of them in the car. Crappy horrible car, with overly bright HID's fitted that looked absolutely ridiculous. I ignored them, as there are mobile speed cameras everywhere around there. I was only cruising around 60-65 I've no idea why this keeps happening, but since getting the the Subaru and after adding spoiler on, I seem to get knobbers in their naf hatches trying to egg me on.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
I have this problem with both my hobbies. (Car + PC Modding) I see something i like and want and i could just about afford. I tend to spend a few weeks looking at the desired item, eventually it passes and i move on lol. Is there nothing small you can buy for your hobby, that gives you the yay i've just bought something feeling?

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
yeah happened to me a few months ago. Whilst working on a placement, my team manager specifically told me of a job that was coming up in the team and said I must apply. However, the day before the job was listed online, I overheard that three jobs went internally, one of the jobs was the one I had been told to apply for. Pretty gutting at the time. yeah, I'll keep trying, nothing else you can do really. Although, its a pretty !Removed! situation to be in.

fml, just had a call from a council, I had a job interview there a few weeks ago. They were calling to tell me i didn't get the job. 3rd rejection in a few weeks. Pretty tough, so many candidates applying for one or two jobs.

All new cars must have 'black box' spying device fitted from next year
the whole benefits argument is a prime example of the governments and media backed smoke and mirrors tactics Example. Oi, you look over there... see that woman/man on benefits all her/his life, refusing to work, whilst YOU work your !Removed! off to pay for it! .... On the other hand, whilst your looking and raging over at Mr Bloggs for having no job and being on benefits.... I'm over here, earning !Removed! millions, not paying any tax and stashing it overseas in safe offshore tax free accounts. In the grand scheme of things, whats the bigger issue to the economy? A few hundred quid going to Mr Bloggs every week for being unemployed? Or All the wealthy people avoiding paying any tax at all? All very clever, and unfortunately, many people fall for it time and time again.

All new cars must have 'black box' spying device fitted from next year
As much as I hate the EU, I'd never vote ukip - they are just the same as the torries. In fact i think many are ex Torries. One fear I have is a coalition made up of the torries and ukip - imagine how bad that would be? You know for a fact, ukip would jump straight into bed with the torries to get their hands on some power! I don't think any political party deserves my vote tbh, they are all a waste of space and only care about their own interests and their financial backers interests. Not in the interests of the normal working people.

All new cars must have 'black box' spying device fitted from next year
I bet alot of people will stop buying new cars then. In any case, when i was in the army doing signals, GPS and satellite stuff, we were told that civilian GPS devices/satellites are only accurate to only about 100m (at best) and cannot accurately determine the speed of the vehicle. So the speed that your GPS says you are doing, is very likely to be inaccurate.

Car insurance joys and questions
I notice you are in the army, i was and found that when the cars was registered on the insurance as staying on camp overnight reduced my premiums. How long is left on your policy? Would it not be cheaper in the long run to finish the year on your current policy n collect the years no claims?

Test fitting Legacy MESH Grille
HI, thanks for the message. I'm not keen on the chrome style thing either. You got any pictures of yours? pictures paint a thousand words n all that. No its not a "standard" Legacy part, however, it is a genuine subaru grille. I think the legacy grilles have different fittings depending on the exact model. I bought this of another legacy owner as it didn't his 3ltr legacy estate. But it fits my 2.0R, however I don't think it fits normal 2.0 models. I'd certainly check which over one you buy that it will fit before you part with any cash. I think I was lucky, other than it needing painting. I'm afraid I'd have no idea if it would fit an outback. You could try a mean stealer, I think SG petch might be some use? - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories Not sure what model outback you have but, this may be of use? 2004 -2009 - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=310/category=ROOT-exterior/accessory=Front+Mesh+Grille/id=8766 2008 -2010 - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=309/category=ROOT-exterior/accessory=Front+Mesh+Grille/id=8766

New tyre time need advise,
My next tyres are going to be a set of Hankook Ventus Prime 2 K115's. http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/hankook/ventus-prime2-k115/215/45/R17/W/91/f?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d215%26profile%3d45%26rim%3d17%26speed%3dAny%26viewmanufacturer%3dhankook&tyre=27530048 Looks like they have pretty good efficiency and breaking performance.
