  1. 35 nice. Mine was at 58 last April but about to hit 70k. Yea I've been looking at race cats. Just quite happy with the car now. If I was going of performance I may go for improving brakes and suspension. Thinking of pricing up the interior with STI seats perhaps. Too many improvements not enough money [emoji2][emoji16]
  2. Yea, not removed any of the cats [emoji4] oh I did de-snorkel too both my tuner and mechanic said the uppipe cat would only start to be a problem around 100k (I think they said). Duncan (RaceDynamix) was quite pleased. He did say he seems to get a little more power from later blobs. I think Duncan said he thought perhaps three hours of labour to remove the uppipe, so guess it would make sense to do other stuff at the same time. At the time I was quite keen to keep the car as standard as possible and easy to MOT. I'm really pleased with the results and I have shocked a M5 owner and a Jag XJR (?). A real pleasure to drive. My favourite is the acceleration from 2nd gear all the way through to fifth, just so incredibly smooth and fast [emoji3] id highly recommend it
  3. I have a 2004 blob. I have Pipercross, Prodrive back box and a walbro fuel pump. Nothing else. I got a remap using VPower by Duncan it it made 272bhp :) Duncan thought a could hit 290 by just removing one of the cars..up pipe I think he said. It's my daily runner. I do 100 miles a day round the m25 and through the Dartford tunnel. The biggest thing I noticed was the smoothness of the drive now. So much more fun to drive [emoji16]
  4. Looks pretty reasonable. So he put it in storage in 2010? I wouldn't be surprised if rubber has perished and some things have seized if it's been sitting in storage for 4.5years
  5. I bought a second hand Prodrive WR Sport....produces a lovely burble...actually had people coming up to me commenting me on it [emoji16] I paid £120 for centre and back box..should get a back box for around £70
  6. To WRX-S's still have the big snorkel in the wing? If so removing that should mean you hear it slurping up the air [emoji3]
  7. No mention of STI then [emoji39]
  8. Just started playing Forza5. I bought the 2005 Blob. I play it with the in car view. Is it justy or does the scoop look wrong? Looks like someone has stuck a lunch box on the bonnet to me [emoji32]
  9. Most I've paid was £780 third party F&T for an MGB GT aged 18....that was a while ago :)
  10. I pay £220 incl RAC but I'm an old git
  11. If it makes you feel better I met a 26 year old with a M3. He paid £1k deposit and then was in the process of paying 10 x £450 monthly instalments!! He said a Scoob would have been similar. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to find out what on earth he had done to deserve a premium like that ....but then watching him drive like a nutter through the tiny industrial estate with tight blind bends I've got an idea
  12. Come on then mate. How much you paying?
  13. Welcome back [emoji3] Yea pics are defo required [emoji16]
  14. Wow! Well I typed how many Subaru into Google and got this... https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/subaru_impreza_p1 Price is difficult as it's what someone is willing to pay. On occasion you see ultra low mileage cars for sale in a fancy showroom for lots of money but they do hang around for a long time and you never know how much they sell for in the end.
  15. Is that mileage a typo? If it's not I'll give you £5k [emoji16] Do you regularly drive it on a private road?
  16. Might have to try a cloth [emoji2]
  17. Hi Gambit, you've Clay bared you car too right? How does the experience and finish differ with a clay cloth?
  18. Welcome mate As Gambit said...I'd really thoroughly check the history. I went to see a few cars where the dealer said full and when I checked it was no where near
  19. So using google looks like yours are a total of 33" and mine are 34". Perhaps it's the 234 width hitting the arches.
  20. Aucky, What height tires have you got on it? I guess if 19" + your tire height is more than 18" + 45cm then that could be the problem.
  21. I have standard 17 wheels with 215/45 tires and no sounds at all going over pot holes, man hole covers or fast over speed bumps ;)
  22. I don't see a difference mate, what's the prob?
  23. What do you mean by fighting itself mate? Do you mean judder? If you feel judder it'll be a loose or worn power steering belt.
  24. Have you got a link please Dave?
