  1. Second that savage, rear arb is a must. Made a world of difference.
  2. That's an impreza wagon, 2.0l turbo. Possibly MY99, WRX, 5 speed manual.
  3. That's the access road to the garage. You'd think with the money passing through and their client base they'd have a decent tarmac road.
  4. Wahoo events inbound. Strut braces arrived today [emoji41] might have a go at fitting them tomorrow. Really want the coils on too [emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16]
  5. I have eagle gsd3 on at the minute and would always go back to them but they seem to have discontinued my size so found a reaosnably priced set of prizes T1R that I will go for. Heard toyos have soft sidewalls though? That's the only thing holding me back.
  6. It's generally accepted as a rule, if the engine is open new bottom end at the same time. New bearings and the like.
  7. I'm on 205/50/16 and find the handling superb but a lot will be governed by tyre choice. If you go for a budget tyre with soft sidewalls you'll find a very boaty ride through corners.
  8. They say they don't hurt anyone but they slide between cars and then sit in front of you. Basically the same as a car cutting you up. You as a car driver then have to take a step back to maintain a safe braking distance. Is filtering legal? Ive heard some bikers get pulled over for filtering in traffic. No evidence to back that up. Just hearsay
  9. Sounds like it's still a bit sore. Just bout time clinic got talked down as much as you fanboys talk down everyone else. While it's here may as well run with it [emoji57] [emoji8] You'll have your chance for more dunc bashing so deal with it for now [emoji41]
  10. Nardi wheels are usually on imports. Red seats and rear wiper?
  11. It depends on the width of your rim. Too small and the tyre will be stretched. I'm sure if you were to take it to a tyre fitter they will be able to advise if they will fit before starting the work.
  12. Fair do. What do we think for a reasonable drop in height?
  13. You'll have fun with the rocker gaskets. You have two to do. Need tiny little hands to fit down the side if you're not lifting the engine. Recently done one side myself. Perfectly doable driveway job.
  14. Got home to the question "what have you been buying?" Couldn't contain my excitement. Struggled to get in the box. But ta da well chuffed. Overall condition is brilliant. Noticed some black rust like marks on the shock. I'll try to polish them up if not back they go. I'm hoping they are all good.
  15. I did mention that in my post. Didn't want to fit them until ready for new tyres and then it'll be full set up. Just wanted to have all the info ready to tell the garage what I'd like from the car.
  16. Are you swapping wheels or trying to put the wider tyres on your rims?
  17. Gambits also a compulsive liar. Make of that what you will [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji8]
  18. This won't effect them all that much. Once the dust settles the naive and unaware will be brainwashed into believing everyone else is tosh and clinic is the only place to go. Hence this poor chap travelling 3hrs to have is brakes looked at.
  19. Not surprised. Seems to be a strength if theirs to force people to be quiet.
  20. Picked up some hks coilovers along with front and rear upper strut braces this week. They'll get stored for a while because my tyres are due replacing soon and I want to fit it all at the same time so I only have to get one geo set up. Wondering what sort of camber to go for, any suggestions? Also what sort of drop do we think is suitable? I'm not so fussed on the lowering aspect and I've never fiddled with suspension. I have had coilovers before so I know what to expect in regards to comfort 😂😏😜 For ride height, if it helps I'm on standard wheels 205/50/16.
  21. Welcome to the club [emoji106] [emoji5]
  22. You really got a bargain there with the description youve given. Good catch. If you have no history or are unsure I'd recommend getting the cambelt done along with the service. When it comes to parts, check out importcarparts.co.uk. They stock genuine Subaru parts without the genuine Subaru price tag. Air, oil and fuel filter for the classic can be picked up for £12.50.
  23. Just renewed mine but now checked if I added the boss. She'd cost me an extra £13/month when she passes...best call all the local instructors and pay them off to refuse lessons.
  24. The problem with a rattly bumper that only happened after he drove out? His word against there's on that one. He sought legal advice not legal action and that was after they were ganging up around him. Which you'd know if you read the post correctly and got it in the right order.
