  3. great thread - final solution is top drawer pity you had the issues upfront
  4. no but I would be interested to find out as a conspiracy theory conversation with a chum of mine resulted in him saying all new cars from 2008 had them fitted as standard but not activated, for when the law changes and we all become lowjacked :o
  5. hell of a bump there glad you walked away chum
  6. struggling to understand how the boost may go up unless the existing pipe is stopping the turbo spooling up to its proper operating rpm by some sort of back pressure?? with a correctly operating wastegate and boost level set by the ECU increased boost by changing this section of pipe should not be an issue, sounds like someone covering themselves

  22. wotcha and welcome - check out this buyers guide for generic stuff http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1619-help-check-guide-buying-1st-subaru/ wrt the car itself - looks clean - expensive brake upgrade, Matt should be along shortly, he has a well modded wagon and may have additional points
  23. sounds like fuel pressure given what you have said plus given age of car anything over 5 years it is worth changing pump, another point to take into consideration is the size of the forum - we have an exceptional amount of quality input within this group however it is reflected within its size, we are comparatively new so please don't always expect an immediate response - as the forum grows this is changing though ;)
  24. not a perrin specifically but a few oil separators in use on the forum
