  1. wow - some power to weight ratio that!!
  2. As above - what are the indications you need the valves clearances checking adjusting?
  3. Matts guidance is almost correct follow most of what he said but look at the turbo itself - it is stamped / cast on the housing
  4. Sometimes standard is not too bad, given the amount of research manufacturers go through too get something that works under a wide variety of driving conditions
  5. mudflaps will also help protect the rear doors - had them on my impreza, there was some pittting but more likely from gravel / tarmac thrown up from the road. Keep us posted on you choice
  6. hmm no, profile size matches with what I ran although I had 245's on the 18's, that shouldn't affect it though
  7. Wotcha and welcome - plenty of classic knowledge on this forum
  8. Yup this is an issue with keeping the lower panels in place, water sits there and rots the subframes. Fortunately it is a reasonably straightforward job to repair / repaint or replace the units
  9. I'm with Stants - remove it and get a lip spoiler - not keen on that particular style of spoiler risers or not. But that is just my opinion
  10. what a sleeper 800bhp fozzie - awesome!!
  11. I had 18's on my Sti with no issues - the manual did say you would get some noise from the diff on occasion but I was never as extreme as you describe - what size are the tyres on your 17's?
  12. I know an engine builder who has plans to do the same twin turbo H6 setup - will be a beast
  13. depends which ones you have installed currently - I have LEDs in my Scoob and Vito - both have been in for quite a while so I would say stick with LEDs
  14. If you can hold out time wise a private sale may be more lucrative.
  15. Wotcha and welcome - looks like you have a great foundation to start working with
  16. Hi sorry - slightly confused by the TLA - are you saying your Intake Absolute Manifold Pressure is down to zero? If the car is still generating boost but the manifold pressure is zero there is a huge mismatch (or hole) somewhere between what the turbo is capable of holding and the engine needs. The MAP sensor is a key player here but given the history I wouldn't know if it was calibrated prior to or during the session you had. We just have a snapshot of one thing happening and no view of the relationship to the rest of you motor so I just guessing - sorry
  17. Wotcha and welcome - my 2.5 STI didn't burn oil, rubber more so but not oil
  18. Wotcha and welcome - I am also in the dark with this one
