  1. they look in mint condition - good luck with the sale
  2. easily done :D
  3. Hang in there Bazza - you are on the right tracks. You could open the lid on your ECU no problem with ignition off just dont touch the circuit board inside in case you earth any static build up through it. Im sure you will be happy with 300 - 330 as an immediate upgrade ;)
  4. keep us posted chum - hope it goes smoothly
  5. keep us posted ;)
  6. I like two and three but not on the same car
  7. Thats worth snapping up at that price - might be worth putting that in the parts for sale section under its own thread
  8. Hi James - yes pictures would be good and an idea of expected price
  9. as I understand it the top mounts for the fronts at least changed with the sharkeye models and they have a different part number from 2010 onwards as well from the 2008 -10 models - couldnt tell you about the rears as I didnt get to check them

no such thing as a free lunch eh?
  11. Miggs mentioned that there are so many good products out there it will come down to personal choice as to what you like using - but dont let all of this good advice put you off doing the right thing by your motor there Pete :D The drying with microfibre cloths is a good tip better than a chamois or a blade and the Dodo wax is good stuff so dont forget the before and after shots Salsa King and a couple of others have set a high benchmark already
  12. that will be near as dammit - might be the odd hose which has gone a bit brittle and cant take it but that can be sorted quite easily
  13. they may feel slow but check you speedo as they can be deceptive at high speed - you dont realise just how quick you are actually going
  14.
  15. For peace of mind Id go to a performance parts supplier - not necessarily get 2.5gees worth of HKS triple plate but something branded which the company supplying will stand by - not used them but Exedy appear to be popular
  16. That DA is the type of thing Miggs recommended to me when we were chatting - if you are going to wax I dont know as you need the gloss protection also if you are looking at the DA you could look at some poorboys swirl remover prior to the polish, this would have a different waffle pad to the wax applicator / buffer Actually I think poor boys do a SSR which sorts the polish layer as well... here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111107311549?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  17. great to hear you have it sorted ;)
  18. you're just too good - I should have checked - I use the view new content button all the time
  19. nice one - more stealth
  20. Is it worth sticking this??
  21. as modern diesels have cats as well if the rest of the engine is in good nick you wont be throwing out high emissions
  22. If the DPF is the show stopper but you really want the rest of the package get an ECU mod and remove it completely??
  23. Thats the way to do it - steady away and you will soon get the hang of it, too much too early could end in a hedge ;)
