  6. Nice looking motor that :)
  7. Wotcha and welcome - keep shopping around for the best quote, they do vary quite a bit and as Gambit says if it has been chipped it would be good if it has some paperwork to prove it- if not you could ask the sales person how they can prove it is what they say it is
  8. That wheel well has come up a treat!
  9. Sounds like some sensible changes to the car, keep us posted ;)
  10. Mate I think what goes on in your head is best left a well kept secret, particularly when there are ladies present
  11. Wotcha and welcome - It would probably depend largely on your budget and what type of rally stages you plan on doing, gravel, sand, mud etc Reiger, Ohlins, Bilstein and Sachs all do great products though
  12. Good luck buddy - dont forget your camera ;) as Gambit says measure lots and big deep breath... remember it is easier to cut a little more off after than put a bit back on so err on the side of less :D
  13. As Gambit says - check and see if there is indeed a live feed when you turn them on from the dash switch - if that is the case then rig a temporary wire from the earth side of the bulb connection and find a different earth on the car. The in car switch could have worn contacts as well... but that will be confirmed if there is a voltage present when switched
  14. Def sounds like an earthing issue (or lack of)
  15. What a beast - yes well worth waiting for by the looks of it!!
  16. Keep us posted - may help others in the future, actually whilst you are there if you could take a few snaps you could turn it into an info thread ;)
  17. If you can post some photos that may help if there is still an issue

  22. Have to defer to someone else on this one but the fitments look the same so you shouldnt have too much of an issue
  23. Just sounds like something has come loose - should be an easy fix :)
  24. That is indeed a shame for a P1 to end up being broken - I know if I had the funds the one for sale on here would be sat in my driveway sharpish.
